After finishing An Ending and telling the shadow dogger that was your legacy, you enter the Legacy mode, which has features such as the creepy grin, talking about eye sockets and hamburger meat to fend off the eggplant man and some new stuff from the spoop Dogg.
So Puppet being Dee Kennedy was foreshadowed when Poopet called Jack their bro.

I don't know if it's important, but I'm pretty sure it's implied the *EVIL* ending is canon in DSAF 3

How does purple guy talk to you based on what ending you choose at the beginning?
Mostly it is dependent if you picked The End/Gnarly Ending/Crafty Ending/Mediocre Ending/Awesome Ending, and so on Some endings, like Bad Ending, do not give Dave exclusive lines

Sadly, there will be no DSaF 3... Gamejolt banned DirectDoggo and deleted DSaF 1 and 2. Thus, he discontinued the project...
I don't think he was banned, (unless he recently said something.) The last thing I heard was from a friend of his, who said that DirectDoggo was going through something personal and decided to leave Gamejolt, and that he deleted the games himself. For now you are correct, DSaF 3 is cancelled.
I heard about the deletion of the games from Gamejolt, but the personal thing he's going through is one of his friend's death, I think.
People gave him donations so doctors could cure Doggo's friend's cancer. That's what I saw on the donation page about 4 months ago.

Kind of? DSAF 3 almost goes the Undertale route by suggesting all of the endings happened.
Yeah, I’ve seen that, I was just thinking that this is like the “true” continuation given how different characters act in DSaF 3, and how well these actions are a reflection of the choices you needed to make in DSaF 2 for this ending to happen

You have to complete the Pure Evil ending once through. I show a way how in some of the other videos, but it mostly involves siding with Dave and choosing Balloon Boy at the end.
