Not my usual type of adventure, but one some of you may enjoy watching. After this 3 part series, I'll be right back to my normal exploring adventures.
Hi Jay ! I know you said you did your research for the ship Did you use this one? Goggle: Tips on Cruise Ships' A whole long line of tips pop up! Again you probably may have seen it. I hope you and family have a fun & safe trip and thanks for letting us tag along. The 'tipping thing' is crazy-- that alone -- 🙃 DON'T SAY THE WORD 'TITANIC'' this is a big no no on a ship. that's a big no no! Have fun!! If you can- get a Dolphin key chain or necklace -- A lady I know from church goes on ALOT of cruise ships & she told me they bring good luck. 🐬🛳️❤
Great to see Jill &Lil along with you on this unique, 3-part adventure! I have never been on a cruise before, so this is particularly fascinating, and I'm looking forward to parts 2 & 3. Love all your videos, Jay, and really appreciate your honest impressions and expert filming & photography. Great video! Lots to see & learn. Thanks for bringing us along!😊💙
As a single guy who's never been on a cruise, it was cool to see a perspective from someone who's opinion I respect. Looking forward to the next in series. 💙
I went on a cruise twice already. It's really a lot of fun. The cruise ship is your hotel and the food, drinks,.... are part of the package. The only pet peeve I have is that laundry isn't free. I have to pay out of pocket if I wanna wash my dirty clothes.
I just did the exact same cruise, over Thanksgiving, with my family. We really enjoyed it and booked again next year. We also messed up the parking and went out the exit too!!
Thanks for bringing us along!! Hi Jill and Lili! I’ve never been on a cruise 20:28 , so this is my one shot to go! I’m not good with big crowds and I think 5,000 would push me right over the railing! But I can’t wait for the next videos!!
I am very happy that you and your family went on a cruise vacation and thank you for sharing your experience with all of your viewers! The Bahamas is a beautiful place! I went there on the cruise ship the Carnaval Pride out of Baltimore MD. My favorite hangout was the hot tub and spa. The beginning of the cruise was a bit stressful but once everything came together I could unwind and relax.
My husband and I cruised for 30 years.. eastern , western carribean ❤.. the ships now are incredible.. Next time come to South florida -- cruise capital..
While we have never been on a cruise ship, we have done allot of road cruising. The best advice that we can give when cruising the roadways is to cruise at a stately pace. On a cruise ship, the speed in which you travel is out of your control, so sit back, relax and enjoy the cruise. Looking forward to your next video❤
I’ve been patiently waiting for these videos to come out! It’s alway chaotic the first day on the ship because everyone is trying to find their way. After everyone gets comfortable, it gets a lot more enjoyable. We have found that, yes, the rooms are small, but they are functional, but, we rarely spend a whole lot of time in there. Looking forward to the next video!!
A massive ship is for sure, but what an amazing experience for you three! Ship is gorgeous and sounds like you have lots of things to do, the pool looks beautiful and refreshing. It was awesome to see the Statue of Liberty too! Good idea to stay on the ship while most others will be off of it and explore it with not so many people around. I have never been on a cruise, but I am thinking you really don't spend too much time in your room with all there is to do and could be the reason why the rooms on a ship are on the smaller side. Also, I am thinking that once everyone gets settled in that things will not be so hectic. Fun adventure, looking forward to your next video! Thank you JP! 💙
Have a great time. I've never been on a big cruise ship but I'm sure things will be better once you get some rest and get to know the ship and routines better. Looking forward to the other videos. Good to see Jill and Lilli.
Never been on a cruiseship, but i live quite near a harbour, in the north of Holland, where cruiseships get their final finishes for the maiden trip. They are built in Germany by Meyer Werft and then travel on river Ems (and it just fits) to the Eemshaven. It's quite rural and flat country here, and the ships are huge and stick out in the landscape like a tall building project. Biggest ship i've been on was in my younger days travelling to Sweden on the Stenaline ferry. I would love to travel the sea, but being surrounded by that many people would be a thing. I'm not feeling comfortable in crowds... That's why i live in a town of roughly 60 people 🙂 Have a nice and safe trip! Greetings from Holland
This is so cool JP!! I'm going on my very first cruise at the end of January 2025 - leaving out of Port Canaveral on Norwegian Cruise Line to the Caribbean for 7 nights. Thanks for sharing your trip!
Good for you guys! Great that you are able to do something like this. I have never been on a cruise and probably never will, so if I ever did, I think I would feel like you do in this video. I am not a city boy and prefer the wide open spaces. But I would definitely try it if I could. I imagine you have already gotten back from this cruise so hopefully you were able to acclimate quickly and had a blast after you got into the groove of things. Thanks for taking us along to share the adventure. Even though it isn't your normal type of video, it looks fun!
Thanks for the novel adventure! You answered my question as to whether I want to go on a cruise. Better you than me! But I appreciate getting to tag along.
Hope the weather is nice for you. Been on cruise 1 time in Bahamas. Storm hit on the way back to ft Lauderdale. Quite a rocky trip, but I didn't get sick. Otherwise it was fun! Hope you have lots of fun.
What a cool adventure for you and your family. You get to explore the ship, Nassau, and the Cay. Three adventures in one. Can't wait to see your other videos. It's good to see Jill and lilly in one of your videos again.
Awesome trip JP family! I've never been on a cruise! Amazing how tall the ship is, I've been in the New York harbor on smaller boats but that's a amazing view being up so high there! Looking forward to the rest of the trip! Thanks for bringing us along!👍
Hello JP and family I always wanted to go on a cruise to Hawaii but my husband was on the fence about it like to wish you the very best of luck Merry Christmas to you and your family and have a Happy New Year🗽⚓🛳🎄🎁❄⛄❄☃️❄🎄 take care and love from upstate New York❤😊
Maaan that destination sure sounds nice. Ship is nice they really are a little city. I heard most ships the cabins are small cause their goal is to get you out moving around and exploring/enjoying the ship.
My wife and I just went on our first cruise the first week of December. We went on carnival from Mimi, FL to Nassau on a 4 day event. I don't care for water, but I want to go again.
Did you remember the Narrows bridge is in Saturday Night Fever? Bobby fell off the cable to his death. Tony tried to talk him off of there. That was a tragic wild night. Looking forward to the other videos. We went to Bahamas from Port Canaveral when we lived in FL. Was such a fun cruise on Carnival line. I enjoyed the casino. Kept winning at video poker lol. At Bahamas we got a guide to take us around to see some sites. Atlantis was grand and I liked going up the Queen's Steps. God Bless.
Wow...awesome first vid of your cruise adventure . Fun seeing Jill and Lil ..🙂.Trying to navigate around that many people had to have been stressful . I've never been on a cruise like that so I can't offer any helpful advice ..LOL.but ..it does seem like the ship designers could have made larger rooms and accommodated less people for a more comfortable vacation experince for their guests . Really looking forward to the next video !👍💙
We did adjust to the room space after a couple days, but it was an adjustment. We did learn quickly what to do and not to do. I'll be sharing more in the next 2 videos.
Been on many, always Royal Caribbean. Use the dining rooms when you can. Book shows and events asap, they sell out fast. On royal u can do it on the app or tv. Most of all, relax and enjoy
Hopefully, they have a rock wall , I think Jay would do well and zip line, maybe. Glad to see Jill and Lilll. For me, living by myself miles away from a small town, the crowd might bother me, but the Taco bar and unlimited ice cream would make up for it. Thanks,Jay. Central California watching
Hi Jp I personally like cruise ships my first time was great I was also on a smaller ship and that makes a big difference with crowds I’m looking foward to your adventure on your cruise experience that ship looked massive 🛳️
If you want to try smaller ships , try Baltimore. Carnival and royal Caribbean have a ship each and norwegian starts sailing out of Philadelphia in 2025. Large ships are overwhelming. My wife and I did it once out of north jersey. We will forever be small ship cruisers
Explore an old cave? No problem! Explore an oversized drainage pipe? No problem! Wander around the woods looking for a Google find? No problem! Take a cruise for the first time with the Wife and Kiddo? BIG problem! lol, just teasing. You're a braver person than I Jay. I've never been on a cruise myself, my EX was never able to get me to go with her, but a lot of that was because, with or without me, she wouldn't go without her entire family (HUGE family). Thanks for sharing!
Space on ships is always at a premium. All cruise ship cabins are small, except perhaps for maybe a single digit number of outrageously expensive suites per ship. Gotta say though, that buffet was pretty sad looking. I'd suggest Royal Caribbean at a minimum as a standard. I'd also sail out of Miami.
No thanks - too many people, and a schedule ... you can have it. Not my idea of a "vacation". I get away from people when I need to relax. Good video tho. Always enjoy your work. Some of those piers you showed were old RR terminals. CNJ/LVRR/Erie/DLW
Im happy you had fun and also thanks for giving us or i should say information on what to do when anyone ever go's to one didnt know a bout suitcases part so they have to be small or medium size suitcases and what kind of food can you put into the fridge or what you bring on borad any kind rules of what kind of food and drinks wise j.p..also merry Christmas and happy new year 🎉.. 🎉 ✨ for the this cruise 🛳 is it just for this one or all curiseship for sizes on suitcases anyway once a gain merry Christmas

Thanks for checking it out. There's lots of singles who go on cruises.
I went on a cruise twice already. It's really a lot of fun. The cruise ship is your hotel and the food, drinks,.... are part of the package. The only pet peeve I have is that laundry isn't free. I have to pay out of pocket if I wanna wash my dirty clothes.
I looks forward to seeing all three!
I’ve been on 4 cruises and they get better every time. It can be overwhelming but once you figure out the ins and outs you will love it!!!!
First day I was ready to go back home lol
I can empathize!
I just did the exact same cruise, over Thanksgiving, with my family. We really enjoyed it and booked again next year. We also messed up the parking and went out the exit too!!
Parking lot was very confusing
Thanks for bringing us along!! Hi Jill and Lili! I’ve never been on a cruise 20:28 , so this is my one shot to go! I’m not good with big crowds and I think 5,000 would push me right over the railing! But I can’t wait for the next videos!!
You peaked my interest Jay, now looking forward to the rest of the cruise, have fun and enjoy it with your family.

I agree JP, The room is small. Very pricey in room food. But it's an amazing looking Curse ship, looking forward to seeing more JP. 👍👍👍👍
It was an adjustment, but a unique experience.
Thanks JP,Hope you, your family have a wonderful time

Go to dining room instead of buffet for lunch when first boarding. Way more relaxing
Good tip
Cruises are great. You will enjoy it. Just sit back and relax.
Don’t get discouraged. It gets better. My husband and I took over 30 cruises over the years. We loved it.
I'm not in love with cruises, but I'm not against another one.
I’ve learned to not look at the prices when you’re on a cruise. It’s nice to see Jill and Lili.
Prices weren't as bad as some of the people.
👍nice informative video, looking forward to the next two.
Hi Jay & family. Hope all of you had a good time on the cruise. 😊
Rough start, but it gets better

The room served us well and you get creative with storage. Staff was amazing and ship was super clean. More fun on the way! 🛳
Loved cruising. Went to Alaska twice and Mexico once

I was expecting the theme song from The Love Boat
Haha
Hope the weather is nice for you. Been on cruise 1 time in Bahamas. Storm hit on the way back to ft Lauderdale. Quite a rocky trip, but I didn't get sick. Otherwise it was fun! Hope you have lots of fun.
A bit rough between NY and the Carolinas. Down in the Bahamas it was gorgeous as you'll see in the upcoming videos.
Behind every great explorer is a great fam! Hello fam! Ya' all have a nice trip!
Good to see your wife and daughter, enjoy your time
I've never been on a cruise so anxious to see what your thoughts are .
Loved this video 👍
What a cool adventure for you and your family. You get to explore the ship, Nassau, and the Cay. Three adventures in one. Can't wait to see your other videos. It's good to see Jill and lilly in one of your videos again.

It was surprisingly large
Hope you enjoy your cruise JP hopefully someday I can bring myself to go on one
It's something to experience for sure

My wife and I just went on our first cruise the first week of December. We went on carnival from Mimi, FL to Nassau on a 4 day event. I don't care for water, but I want to go again.
The water at the ports in the Bahamas made it worth it for me.

Im sure you will hear it ten thousand times through these videos but cay is indeed key.
I've never been on the MSC line, so enjoying seeing this. Thanks Jason.
Good to see the family.
Not wild about boats. Also waaaayyy too many people.
Yea, people everywhere
I don't think i would survive one . Enjoy stay safe love ya . ❤❤
Not for everyone, but glad I decided to experience it for myself.

Hi Jp I personally like cruise ships my first time was great I was also on a smaller ship and that makes a big difference with crowds I’m looking foward to your adventure on your cruise experience that ship looked massive 🛳️
I said go big or go home lol. Thankfully it got better after the first day.
Thanks for sharing that with us
The great outdoors. Next time try Siargao and Coron in the Philippines.
Hahaha, I'm like you. I would have the entire floor plan of the ship memorized. My wife is like, "yeah, whatever, lets just do it..." 😂
🤣
If you want to try smaller ships , try Baltimore. Carnival and royal Caribbean have a ship each and norwegian starts sailing out of Philadelphia in 2025. Large ships are overwhelming. My wife and I did it once out of north jersey. We will forever be small ship cruisers

Haha, you summed it up. But with caves, google finds and pipes there's no people lol. But I'm glad I experienced something different.
@@JPVideos81 I understand completely. 2025 will be my year to experience new, different things.
Can't wait to see you in a suit if you go to the formal dinners. I usually avoid them.
We did attend gala night
This is definitely not for me. Nice video though
That "buffet" was actually a pool side buffet with quick eats. The main buffet was much better.
@@JPVideos81 Thank goodness for that. I look forward to more of the cruise.
No thanks - too many people, and a schedule ... you can have it. Not my idea of a "vacation". I get away from people when I need to relax. Good video tho. Always enjoy your work. Some of those piers you showed were old RR terminals. CNJ/LVRR/Erie/DLW
Yea, it's not what I'm used to, but the ports in the Bahamas is what sold me on it. I prefer peace and quiet, but glad I did something different.
My prediction is this will be your last cruise.
🤔😁
Buffet is always the busiest on Embarkation Day
Im happy you had fun and also thanks for giving us or i should say information on what to do when anyone ever go's to one didnt know a bout suitcases part so they have to be small or medium size suitcases and what kind of food can you put into the fridge or what you bring on borad any kind rules of what kind of food and drinks wise j.p..also merry Christmas and happy new year 🎉.. 🎉 ✨ for the this cruise 🛳 is it just for this one or all curiseship for sizes on suitcases anyway once a gain merry Christmas
