- Evade build really feels like it was designed for this fight, just the fact that the AI will use Megidolaon instead of Ark on turns where you use the evade skill alone makes the fight more reasonable.
Also this might be the only video of its kind rn? All the vids I see of this fight in NG Hard usually involves a set up for an otk using innate skills to farm press turns.
Honestly this run was super clean despite a couple obvious mistakes like Impalers Glory into Elec Shard early on (BRUH), didn't even use like half the demons I prepped for this fight. The first time I won this fight he burned through a lot more of my resources and demons and I had a super neat finisher with Qadistu Entropy, kinda wish I had that recorded instead oh well.
Good plays. Appreciated this run a lot since I was getting tired of seeing people just abuse Press Turns and doing like 24+ attacks with Nahobino lmao. Great job!

people say using luminescent mirage is cheesing because it "exploit his ai"
i disagree, i never saw Satan use megidolaon on "regular" strat, that mean he specifically use it to waste your dodge so he can't miss megido ark
anyways, great fight
@Sombrelame I am curious if I can do it without mirage in a future run and still not use strategize/baal/yoshitsune/arahabaki/withdraw all demons otk strats. Its just that it'd be kind of a crap shoot in terms of Satan not targeting mc too many times and being able to finish the fight before you exhaust all your demons of which you'll need a lot.

@@krantz7088 i did some tests and
-full buff/debuff with kannabi veil , ark "only" do 500/600 damage,
-chaotic will halve his turns so unless his physical demons get a crit, satan won't replay.
-and there is Bowl of Hygieia allow to get a hp burst to tank even more
so i think it's doable with more tests but i played too much of vengeance, i need a break XD
but i'll try to give it more thoughts when i come back to the game

he only doesnt spam megido ark if your buffs/debuffs are +1/-1 and you dont have a full party of null phys/fire (yes, even though his innate fire move is trisagion)
however, using luminescent mirage and buffing up is just the easier option. the only videos i've seen of beating him without luminescent mirage involved copious amounts of balms and incenses

Using Luminescent Mirage is kind of a cheese strat on its own as it effectively disables Megido Ark… though it’s pretty much a must-have if you want to make the battle less RNG-dependent.
Beat Satan twice, first to damage-check using the PB + IG + Charge cheese strat. Added in Yoshitsune for turn manipulation lol.
Second time, still used PB but didn’t abuse IG. Focused mainly on high single-hit attacks using Zeus (who is a crit God btw and is insanely spammable for 3 demon rotations) and Inanna.
He could have added Chaotic Will to make Satan's defeat even cheesier. Are you sure PB + IG + Charge is better than PB + Omnipotent Succession + Omagatoki Pierce?

Yeah I don’t really like super cheesy strats either. That’s why I made a point to fight Elizabeth in P3R fair and square on her terms and why I don’t use demons like Arioch or Arahabaki
