With the adjustments coming to Smolder next patch, how do you think his game plan will change?
It kind of seems to me like it will just be better to start Blade instead of Ring and still put a point in W level 1 since the "naked hits" as Phrox called them will deal more damage that way, plus it'll help your Q from level 2 on deal a little more damage.
They absolutely gutted w early, it’s losing 20 base damage, plus another 17 due to switching from total ad to bonus ad, and the cd is a second longer, and the ap ratio was shifted to rely more on explosion damage. I think q start is going to be slightly better now, as w poke isn’t nearly as oppressive as it once was, along with presence of mind now being a requirement with biscuits since you no longer have the extra mana from the ring. Smolder will definitely be more exploitable early game now
@@rage2368 You're completely right; I guess I didn't really think it all the way through. Shame; it was nice having a playable early game while it lasted.
