U hype so much abt vivobook 15 under 35k, 40k and even under 50k. But tbh, i found average, Bcz battery backup is only 3 4hrs even at normal usage, display is below average.

5500U and 1215U are almost equal. Compare other components.
Being a bit more specific, 5500U lead a bit on multi task and 1215U on single task. But yeah both are great, but if I had to choose i might go with 5500U tho 1215 is newer.
