I found it very interesting, that she makes her own turning tools, and the method of connecting the bowls to the lathe, quite an innovation compared to the methods I was taught at school. The method of connecting it to the lathe, which I've not seen before, was the most intriguing. I'll have to look at that more closely, as it seems eminently simple, but also very effective, as it allows fast removal and replacement of the bowl, but no possibility of damaging it with pressure marks. I couldnt seee how she managed to get the correct alignment each time she removed and replaced the bowl.
