Remove your battery, and loosen up the battery box. Remove passenger headlight and you have the most access you will get to the sensor. We just replaced one last night. Cheers
The fan stopped running on high after engine starts right after I made this video and before I actually installed the new one so I never ended up installing it. I did keep it just in case though.
Did it fix the high speed fan problem? I’m having the same issues with my high speed fan coming on and running non stop. I tried changing the thermostat (due to other UA-cam videos) but it didn’t fix it. My fans still running high.
I never had an issue with the fans running too much so I don't know but if you're temperature gauge isn't working it should fix it unless it has a short in wiring.
I HATE automotive engineers. They are the most impracticle people on the EARTH!!! I really really want and engineer to WORK on the vehicles they design. I'll be they would stop making failable parts buried in the engine!! Try finding this part: Coolant temperature sensor on a 2017 Ford Expedition. It's hidden under the intake manifold!!! You, literally, have to remove the entire top of the engine to get to it!! I replaced the coolant overflow reservoir (which was expensive because the awesome engineers made it part of the air filter holder) and the hose that connects to that reservoir. OMG!!! It took forever to get the old one out and new one in!!! I'm not surprised that they hid the AC sensor UNDER the vehicle!! Gotta love em!!
Could you provide a link to the diagnostic video you watched that lead you to replace this switch?
I just want to know if that was an inch worm checking his hand out in the low center of the vid around 2:40.

@@theinternets7516 ok thanks dude. I’m wondering if the act of unplugging the pressure sensor maybe fixed the issue or not. I’ll give it a go anyway
Hey bud where does the o ring goes that comes with it ?
I don't think mine came with an o-ring.
Neck of the schrader valve.
Does the refrigerant need to be evacuated prior to changing the switch?
No

Was that the high AC pressure sensor or the low AC pressure sensor

It’s not $20 or $30 dollars. It’s almost a $100 dollars.
I can't help if the price changed since I made the video.
O’Reilly had it for a hundred. Parts geek had it for 54. Shop around a little.
