I've been having so much fun with coral island the last couple weeks. Can't wait for you to get into it. I would recommend giving the settings a glance, there's also a setting that slows down game time up to 50% if you feel the days are rushed at the start, you can change it whenever back and forth.
It’s lovely so far - good to know about the day setting, once I have less cutscenes it might be good. I never tend to adjust the day but I like that it’s an option!

I’d forgotten about the weird dashing this game has. Would you prefer a game doesn’t waste energy if you use the wrong tool or automatically switches to an appropriate tool? Early game I’d prefer the former, later on the latter. It’d be a neat option for the settings menu.
It is odd dashing, initially it feels like something momentous is going to happen. I like your tool idea - the idea of learned improvement is a good one. Acquired knowledge is often done so strangely in games.
LOL! I'm still chugging through that one. I've gotten to ept 980. I just watch them when I'm eating at my desk, have a lul in activities, or as background sound when playing other games.

You can make your days longer, or shorter in your settings. Longer equals more money, and exploring time 😊

It is indeed very Stardew but with its own character and flavour which makes it familiar yet really delightful!
