I just fish for fun, but I try to get good stuff. Now these new chatterbaits I cannot afford. I still use the originals. I still catch bass on them. It is my go to bait every time out. I am 62 and have never been able to get a bass to bite a crank bait. I caught large carp on a rattletrap once, but never a bass on any of them. I will try again in the spring. I still keep one chatterbait tied on to two of my baitcasters. One with a trailer and one without abs both different colors. My go to color has always been chartreuse. I catch more on that color than any other.
I’m waiting for my first EVOs and chatterspike delivery. I’m excited to give them a try.

Thanks for the video, Miles! Interesting point you make on the trailer's affect on the action. Consider making us a video on the trailers you use. I throw mainly Zman soft plastics, too... curious which trailers you use and your rationale. Good luck on the water!

Yes, in fact I can help with that. I recently did a video on the BIG BLADE Chatterbait earlier this week. In it I have a tip for keeping a Chatterbait less “shaggy” around wood. Essentially, it has everything to do with the trailer you use. If you use a wide body trailer (like a GOAT) if you rig it so the body is horizontal instead of vertical, the trailer helps the Chatterbait not to roll while going over wood, which makes it snag much less.
Are you going to make a Tungsten head in future

Blade seems different from JH ?
I have both and i feel like the evo blade is a tad thicker but i could be wrong. Also depending on the colorway and what the blade has painted on it.
