@@reddishcarp1237 Hope so. As much as I'd like a new enemy (Corypheus was recycled from 2, and Darkspawn/the Blight was heavily recycled from Origins) this would tie it up quite well for the elven gods of Thedas. Add in some DLC for big lore drops like Inquisition's Trespasser (could be about almost anything) and it should be pretty nice. Also makes sense why Solas seems to be aware of them. If we assume he sealed the bad members of the Evanuris in a prison behind the Veil it would make sense that the opposing force(s) of the Forgotten Ones are held elsewhere. Can't remember the codex entry about it, but it mentioned different types of prisons IIRC so him having removed them by physically putting them off the continent would seem to work. Might be a bit iffy since it said he tricked/trapped both at the same time, but back in old Arlathan days there's enough raw magic I could see it working out regardless.

@@DracoSafarius Darkspawn and the blight were hardly recycled. DA has always had one overarching story. Blights and darkspawn are integral to it. One large story unfolding across four or five games was literally the plan from the beginning.
@@DracoSafarius Also, keep in mind that we were told in clear terms that there would be no DLC for Veilguard. Any plans they have are apparently intended for the next title.
I think your last entry, West across the Volca, to be the most likely. For the reasons you gave as well as the actions of the Dwarven Sea Captain's trading for Lyrium. Adding my own two-bits. Since we know that the Dwarves were part of a Titan through the Titan's blood, it would make sense for Dwarves that no longer have access to lyrium, or Titan for that matter, to trade for it, if the rest of the world was never part of the Fade.
I don’t care what they claim, as far as I’m concerned, the fact that they took those people and didn’t leave a way to get in contact makes them hostile. What is the Inquisition supposed to tell those people’s families?! “Don’t look for them and don’t mourn them.”? Fuck that shit! I know that there were no signs of a struggle, but there are many explanations for that, and only one or two are benign, and in those the commander should’ve left a message for Cullen or Leliana. I heard a theory that these are possibly the people who managed to sneak into Skyhold and leave a message during that investigation chain involving that dwarf who thought he was a better writer than Varric. If that’s the case, then professionals of that skill level could’ve easily snuck in and drugged the food, rendering most of the garrison helpless, then it’s just a matter of grabbing the stragglers and cleaning up the evidence. And that’s just the first thing that pops into my head.
This video just became very relevant
I just finished the game and got the secret ending :D You are very correct
so, uhhhh.... bet he didn't actually expect that this was gonna suddenly become relevant 5 years later
I definitely didn't, but I'm SO GLAD IT DID
"Putting new antagonist this late into franchise seems unlikely"
Well that just backfired with Veilguards ending lol
They aren't new & they're heavily hinted to be the Forgotten Ones that opposed the Evanuris.

Give me anything about them, I love the secrecy behind them!!!!
Whelp.

these war table missions about the strange chalk markings were also super mysterious and interesting to me!
Fascinating conjecture! Enjoyed the video very much, my dear.
I wonder whether the Executors will make an appearance in DAGV, logically they should, but then who knows.
well well well
Just finished DAV.... so here I am! Thank you sir!
well well well
could they be a new race?
Amaranthine Ocean i find very interessing. But i thing it is not on the map.
Fantastic, as always 🤓
I wouldn't count Par Vollen out yet. Perhaps these Fex aren't as primitive as the rest of Thedas believes they are?
Is 10:17 from a codex entry? Because Ghil Dirthalen also said almost exactly the same thing
It's from World of Thedas Volume 2, page 132, "The Mysterious West"
@@LucasRhodan thank you!!!
Lots of Veilguard hater are going to need some heavy doses of copium.
The “retcon” shouters truly just need to read
Comeback after finishing the New Dragon Age: Veilguard
There is more mentioning of The Executors again ❤
I may be 6 yrs late but also no I’m not 👀
