What? EA Battlefront doesn't have micro-transactions, and everything in the base game can be unlocked easily by just reaching Level 50, which is easy enough.
Indeed, but it'll feel off if they can't reinstate the Rogues themselves. The post-Disney EU isn't acknowledging them beyond the Rogue Group of Luke's snowspeeders in ESB, and Wedge is framed in the Aftermath books as creating "Phoenix Squadron" instead before going off to teach a flight academy after the Battle of Jakku. A far cry from the Rogue adventures, in my opinion.

I wish there was a remake of Star Wars Rogue Squadron already... I've been wishing for a long, long time a remake of the game with even more levels... And I hope for such a remake for all consoles, especially for xbox, which is one of the consoles on which I play.Good recreation of the soundtrack! Of course, it is 8 years old... But even so, this is a jewel! I wish a mass movement could be created for someone to create an official remake of the game ✨

Now that I think about it the Rogue Squadron anthem sounds like the one Michael Giacchino wrote for Rogue One
Possibly intentional, as in-universe, you could say Rogue Squadron is named such in memory of the Rogue One crew. Perhaps someone recounted the events to Luke between ANH and Empire Strikes Back.
@@ReluctantWarrior according to the comics, that's exactly what happened. But personally, I don't like it. When I heard the title for the movie, I thought "OMIGOD, it's going to be an origin story for Rogue Squadron - the elite soldiers and pilots of the Rebellion, the best of the best, the ones who make the impossible missions possible!" But no, the name was just a complete throwaway. Nothing important whatsoever. I. WAS. PISSED. I don't CARE if Rogue Squadron was canonically named after those guys, I wanted Rogue Squadron to be something big, something important, the way it was in the old expanded universe. I didn't want it to be this small, unimportant, throwaway thing from the rebellion era. I wanted it to have a legacy, with a lot of pilots in the resistance being from Rogue Squadron, like how Wedge Antilles and a lot of Rogue Squadron pilots temporarily resigned their commissions in order to fight Ysanne Isard in the Bacta War in Legends. But no, Disney just let that glorious opportunity slip right through their fingers. Stuff like that is why I prefer Legends to canon.

This is done in 2014; yet the part at 0:38 is almost EXACTLY like in Rogue One.

Well that's the Star Wars Main Theme, which Rogue One's "Hope" Theme is based on -- it's essentially an inversion of the Main Theme.
Though on the subject, the Rogue Squadron Theme goes really well with Rogue One's Imperial Suite. I'm sure Giacchino was partly inspired by it, having composed for video games himself.
A tribute or unique cover of the theme from TIE Fighter next please? Not only was it an awesome game, but the original music for it was fantastic.
We love that game, and the main theme too! With our schedule the way it is now we can't promise anything, but if we ever get the free time we'd certainly love to give it a shot! :)
Enough of the damn rogue one comparisons, it didn't compare.
it was good. But compared to the glory that is Rogue Squadron... no, it most certainly DIDN'T stack up. It easily could have - they could have made it so that Jyn Erso joins Rogue Squadron, and they're the ones who steal the Death Star plans TOGETHER, with Jyn taking on the callsign of Rogue One at some point in the film. Or perhaps Jyn and Cassian FOUNDED Rogue Squadron to take on the mission to Scarif themselves, forming a team of elite Rebel soldiers willing to do whatever it takes, thus beginning the glorious tradition of Rogue Squadron being the best of the best from the Rebellion, the ones who pull off impossible missions. And in the end while they do lose a lot of people during the mission to steal the Death Star plans, or maybe even all of them, the elite Rogue Squadron unit is created or continued in their memory. THAT'S the Rogue One I wanted to see.
That would completely throw out everything regarding the implications of what inevitably happen to scarif as well as diminishing the greater rebellion in their role at the “first major victory” Rogue one was flawed, but the version we got, with Blue squadron and Raddus, was much better

Hi there! I think you are referring to the string section plucking (pizzicato). As for gear, my PC back then was an just an Intel quad core with 16 gigs of ram. I played all the parts in on a keyboard controller.
This is so awesome. This takes me back. Is it ok if I used this for a preshow segment of a video game stream I'll be doing in the near future, it's actually going to be of all three Rogue Squadron games.
