@@BrentTimm My father & my mom were born in Chittagong of Bangladesh 🇧🇩. We four brothers & three sisters were born together in Manhattan Area of New York City, USA 🇺🇸.
I’m Hindu, but the appalling factory farming conditions in the US are far worse. I had no idea there’s worse pollution in Bangladesh outside Dhaka. I feel bad for the people who work and live there. The garments factory owner is a chill and humble guy. Hopefully, conditions in other garments factories are also improved.
I feel worse for the people in the South Bronx, NYC, where people openly take a dump in public, and where there's streets full of drug takers of all sorts including fentanyl shooting up literally in public on the street in broad daylight
This factory is nothing with compare to Lead certified Green factory (200 nos) in Bangladesh. Moreover, among World's top ten Green factories seven are in Bangadesh. You must visit at least one of those.
I really loved watching this video. My grandpa passed away just last year and he owned one of the biggest garments factories in Bangladesh and this really reminded me of him and his work.
Great video Brent, especially the part where you showcased a Bangladeshi factory and how standards and ethics have improved vastly. It would be great if international companies gave our people more opportunities like this
Man, your videos are addictive. I am watching your videos one after another. And thank you for treating my people so nicely. Hope you enjoyed the hospitality Big Big Big LOVE from Dhaka, Bangladesh.
People in the United States need to live there for a year to appreciate the country (US) they live in. We take lot of things here in the United States for granted.
I am working toward being pescatarian. Seeing animals and knowing there other food options and respecting animals, not as willing to eat them anymore. But respect others preferences. Wish there was a better option for people in garment factories. Thank you for being us this heart wrenching but informative video.
There is also cows wroth around 12-15k usd. I think you have heard about American brahmans cows. They belong from your homeland USA and these are the most expensive cows over here.
@IslamIsTheSolution98 No one asked you to watch this video, if you find the woman in this video disgusting , do not watch - the world does not revolve around what you find disgusting or what you find acceptable
The first part of the video was irritating mainly due to your "friends" who don't know proper communication. And they should have warned you about the pollution. I live in Chittagong but never have seen pollution like you experienced there. Anyways the face was saved after meeting the dashing artculate young owner of the factory and farm.
Bro! I have become a huge fan of yours lately. You are very respectful towards our countrymen and I appreciate it. Anyway, you’re in Chittagong, right? It is my home town. In fact, I live next to the hotel area you stayed in, hotel peninsula, right? I hope to see you soon!
I've been to that place many times before & I've never seen such conditions u r expalining !!!! Most possibly they were burning plastics somewhere near !!!!👍 Chittagong doesn't have anything close to that sort of air pollution problems !!!!
People around the globe has misconceptions about Bangladesh garments industry. Fact is previous time, those garments were in very awful conditions but now most of the garments are now under compliance and some are too good, the owners can starts " garments tourism". Even top 10 garments factories now in Bangladesh. Only problem western buyers are not willing to pay fare share to the local garments owners. Which ultimately shifted to the garments workers. Hope you understand what i mean. One of your best episodes, you dig to the core of Bangladesh economy. Thank you.
I used to live in Chittagong in that particular area near asian agro. In that area there are steel mills. They pollute the environment but no one held accountable. All laws only implemented to poor people. But other places in Chittagong is very eye catching. I may have seen you in our university, university of Chittagong. Was that you?
Brent look forward to your Sylhet’ tour very soon 1) Sri Mongol tea gardens 2) Madhabkunda, Ham Ham and Pangthumai Waterfalls 3) Jaflong shada pattor 4) Grand Resort Sylhet 5) Meatup restaurant, Chowhatta, Sylhet 6) Woondaal King kebab restaurant 7) Platinum Lounge restaurant 8) Panch Bhai restaurant 9) Panshi restaurant 10) The mad grill 11) Adventure world
I laughed when brent said, "I am a big animal lover" and he is chowing down beef everywhere! He just can't accept the fact that beef comes from dead cows😂 The most silliest thing I have seen in western people. "No living thing can be survived without consuming any other living thing"
That was a very depressing video! Firstly with the pollution, Secondly with the cattle market & third but not least the garment factory! I'm sure the owners are quite aware of the Tazreen garment factory fire in 2012 that killed more than 110 workers due to blocked fire escapes & virtually non-existent water sprinkler system. I can't imagine what would be the fate of the garment workers trying to flee a fire descending the narrow staircase! I didn't see any fire extinguishers! Not to change the subject, Tim, but Lahore, Pakistan is rated by the WHO as being the worst polluted city!

People in the United States need to live there for a year to appreciate the country (US) they live in. We take lot of things here in the United States for granted.
In most of the garments factories people are working over 12 hours a day 6 days in a week only for 150 dollars/month. It's miserable.
They get 7-8k taka so 70-80$
@HinduPAGANcowpissdrinkerRAKESH $150 is good money

What you intend to eat,all has life. So it's some sort of hypocrisy to avoid animals and take plsnt as food.
