I had an amazing time drawing my way around the city, visiting lots of museums, admiring all the incredible architecture and of course visiting the art shops!! I love watching people travel to Vienna and I get to experience things that are normal for me from an outside perspective. It reminds me that living in such a culturally rich city is not the norm and should be apprechiated more (:

What an amazing place, I will have to visit there, especially the art shop , I've never seen anything like it, I live in the Highlands of Scotland and we don't have any proper art shops here. Loved the way you worked too it looked so good and really captured the seen , thank you ❤

So nice to revisit Vienna with you 😆. You definitely managed to fit in doing more things than me. We mostly just stayed in the Stephansplatz area as our hotel was there. Totally agree about the natural history museum needing lots of time - it's going to be the first place I revisit if I get to go back to Vienna one day.
Hehe thank you Emma! It was a jam-packed trip for sure, I was exhausted by the end of it 🤣 My hotel was in Westbahnhof so I feel like I didn't spend as much time as I thought I would around Stephansplatz! Definitely heading back to the Natural History Museum next time 💜

Beautiful trip.... doing a solo art trip is also on my bucket list, but never got the courage to actually do it ! I really enjoyed the natural museum in Vienna too, such an amazing place both for its building and for the amazing collections. Thank you for sharing this experience with all of us :)

Thank you for this inspiring video❤I've also visited Vienna twice for the last year and fallen in love with the architecture! 😊I spent 4 hours in the National Archeological Museum and even was exhausted by the interesting things. 😮But I didn't know about the gigantic art supplies store❤
It's a stunning city, I can't wait to go back! I'll have to check out the Archeological Museum next time I visit too, that sounds fascinating! I'd definitely recommend the art supplies store too - I will go back with more of a plan next time as it was overwhelming with so much choice!! 🤣

Before heading there I didn't think there were any art shops - how wrong I was! I'm so glad to have found them, they were unlike any art store I've ever visited! 😄
When I was watching your video I was like, this was exactly how my solo trip to Vienna looking like in last month!!! I went to all those galleries/ museums that you went and I like to do my drawings during my trip too!!! Absolutely understand how much joy you’ve had!!!❤

If you like the larger posca and want some different colors I would suggest looking into molotow. I like the chisels and some colours overlap or are similar enough that you can skip, definitely don’t need the full set.
Yes I have some Molotow and I think they're great! Definitely have a better shade range which is a big plus! 😊

This was so fun to watch! I've been to Vienna before and it brought back many memories! I had bought a little tin from the Albertina Museum gift shop that I now use to hold my pencil shavings in my art bag. :) Thanks for sharing!

What a wonderful trip - thanks for sharing it! I’ve only been to Vienna once a very long time ago & this makes me want to go back. I didn’t get a chance to see as much as you did & I’d love to go with a digital camera & a sketchbook. No way to pick a favorite, but that Palm House & the final museum you went to are definitely on my list!

The kraft sketchbook is fun to paint with acrylics. I've done mine and have decided I'll always get the kraft and paint them. Fun times. Thank you for sharing!

Right?! I wish we had similar in England (though maybe it's a good thing that we don't 😂💸)
What a lovely video 😄🧡 So inspiring seeing all the buildings and museums. I think my favourite had to be the large art store, what a dream to look around a shop like that, only problem is that I think I would have spent way too much money 😅 I would love to get into urban sketching next year, looks so fun to draw outside (but a little scary too) 😊

Hahaha I would love a store like that closer but like you say, maybe it's good I don't 😂💸 Urban sketching has been so fun to learn! Drawing outside isn't so scary once you've done it once I promise 🥰 Most people pay no attention at all!
wonderful😍😍😍 I visited Vienna with some friends a few years ago in summer and we enjoyed this fabulous city as much as you did! It brings back all those memories: seeing the beautiful places you visited and it makes me want to go there again, maybe on my own, too, for sketching, seeing different places and exhibitions😊 and visiting art stores 😂thank you so much for the vlog❤

I so enjoyed watching this, seeing places I been too. Absolutely love Vienna and you definitely inspired me to go back there again (last time I was there was July 1987, crikey, that's a while ago ha ha). What brands are the two light blue markers you used the church sketches?
Aah that's so wonderful, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I bet the city has changed a bit since then but isn't it amazing that the architecture and buildings still stand and the city still holds so much culture 🥰 They are Montana Acrylic markers, but I've mixed the colours myself using refills to get those shades 😊
What supplies do you take with you while traveling and creating art outside?
It varies depending where I go but I'm going to film a new video in the next month or so that shares how to pack for holidays and plein air art! 😊
