last time i said i plan to have a project done in a week or two that was July 4th then I got hit with a 2-3 week back order which after 4 weeks turned into indefinitely back ordered so I spent $610 on a new input shaft and that will be here in the next two and a half hours but ive got to wait until Saturday for the barring puller to come in so i can do it properly then its going to rain Sunday so Monday it should be done. screwing with these carts in Canada is a pain not only are most parts in the us so we're paying exchange international shipping and duty. now thankfully I found an import company that will ship all products from places that don't ship to Canada and use a flat rate of valuing the package as $50 for duty purposes so instead of $240 dor duty i paid $15
I just ran across your video. Nice job on the swap. You wouldn't happen to still have the driven clutch would you? I have a 1984 G1 that some knucklehead sold the driven clutch off of it. If you do still have it, would you be interested in selling it? Thanks!
Please add bloopers again I really enjoy watching them. Also reminds people that we're human and all make mistakes. That being said keep up the wonderful progress DOC!! Love your videos!!👍
Sprocket's Garage when I watch your videos I always watch and wait to see what's on after the credits. It's nice to see something different that I don't see on many channels I'm subscribed to. I think the only other person I see do little things at the end and not that it happens much is 3Dmachines.
I have an old Yamaha like yours, I use that thing all the time, even here in the yard, I haul garden tools, I use it to got to the post office, etc, I did put new rings and crankshaft seals but it runs like a top.. good look on your project.
Cool little project, as long as you are not picking off of Fugazi! Hope to see more action of Fugazi! As for the golf cart, I am looking forward to what you do as always! I am hoping for some global warming here in the Seattle area,...actually praying! Cheers!
I suppose it's possible, but be aware that shipping probably will run you $30-50 from Canada, and that's not even touching whatever we agree on for the actual price of the part.
Are you intrested in selling the old golf cart axle ? i live near Orillia and have been looking for a golf cart for a project, would settle for the axle lol
the transmission with reverse and 4wd option is far better than the original design, it should be a very capable rig once up and running. especially after you put in the 4x4.
thats how i started off on the cushman, after pricing brake components for the factory axle it was cheaper to buy a ugly quad that ran good. 300 for the running and driving suzuki was a bargain in my book,i am going to get back to work on it again tommorow.looks good so far, should be fun to drive
Too bad if the golf cart was a EZGO Cart that Polaris Trailblazer and the Trailboss 250's were actually the same engine internally as the EZGO engines. Who came first? Well that's still a toss up, Polaris actually used that engine in their mid to late 70's sleds I believe Gemini was one of those with the 244cc engine they always referred to as their 250 and of course they all used the CVT clutch systems. So just some useless information for anyone playing around with golf carts snowmobiles or atvs. The engine in the EZGO was called a Robin but all these engines were manufactured in Japan by Fuji Industrial. I believe the EZGO used a model EC25-PG2 and the revised 2 more hp PG3 only difference was windows cut in the piston for more reed valve flow. The early version makin a giant sad 9hp and the updated made a whole 11hp but in the Polaris machines these engines were allowed to breathe with bigger carbs slide carb of course and an expansion pipe, even in stock trim on the Polaris making an average of 22-25hp bone stock. So yes if the gears are turning they made EZGO 2 stroke golf carts till around 1993 then going 4 stroke inline twin Robins with and overhead cam design. Hope this may come in handy for anyone playing with any of the above. It's pretty easy and cheap if you buy Polaris parts for the ezgo and you can easily squeeze a nice 18-28hp out of one reliably with basically simple bolt On's from the Polaris. Of course minor fitting and adapting is always necessary especially inside the tight compartment of any golf cart. Thanks and again hope this information helps someone interested in need.

Excellent choice. Use what you have on hand. Its paid for!

I can take a look around, but I think I got rid of it. I'll let you know.

A 'fried' engine? You just inspired the perfect name for this project... "Poutine"! :)
I'm impressed! Didn't think anyone outside of Canuckistan knew of poutine! LOL

Thats going to be a fun toy! I will be there to inspect as soon as my knee is feeling good again!
would you want to sell the driver clutch off the engine? shipping to 40359
I suppose it's possible, but be aware that shipping probably will run you $30-50 from Canada, and that's not even touching whatever we agree on for the actual price of the part.
okay, what would you think you might want for the part?
keith wilson We can chat about that. Perhaps best thru fb. If you join Sprocket's Garage (link in video description), you can hit me up thru there.
didn't see a link.

BBRobify We can certainly talk about it. Find me thru my FB group by the same name.
Want to sell it
Oh man this should be sweet!
I'm groovin on that 4wd idea for the future too, I'd wager that the front end is totally usable for it.
the transmission with reverse and 4wd option is far better than the original design, it should be a very capable rig once up and running. especially after you put in the 4x4.
you said welcome to Canada... and I just had to beat that thumbs up!
I have same kind of golf cart I'm having lil issues with it I was wondering if you can message me and help me out

Down here in iowa we know what it's like
Did you like playing around with lawn tractors if so why not create your own 4 wheel drive lawn mower with a lawnmower deck
Well- I don't need 4x4 to mow a small lawn, but keep an eye on the channel for a related upcoming concept
use that whole front suspension from that Polaris frame,
I’m going to purchase an old Yamaha and restore it I will also make a video about it
I was all excited until you said Polaris I'm just not a huge fan but I hope this works out for you
i wish i could live in canada
Hey
can you shout out swagandmowers
A 4wheel drive golf cart would look BAD A$$
