Great interview. Never felt guilty comparing myself with others, but I have when memorizing with someone and they are doing it better (as in memorizing faster or reciting more clearly).

I recently taught a series called “The Power Of A Single Verse” based on my own experience as a baby Christian and how at that time I would cling to these half-dozen verses-even not knowing the full context or theological background-and, through God’s grace, they transformed my life. Hey, memorizing any of God’s anointed unchanging words will make a difference in your heart, mind, and life! Isa 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. @reverenddarrenmcclelland
