Such a wonderful car indeed! I recently bought myself a 2011 1750 giulietta with 80k on the clock :) I love flying past the audi's mercs and bmw's 😂 i love there reaction its priceless!!! Makes me smile like a child everytime ☺️
A great car. It is also good quality. yes there are a small number of weak points, the dash storage box is a bit flimsy relative to the rest of the car, the fuel flap as you say and maybe the interior for handles, but in general it is all solid. Very reliable too. 330000 km on mine now.
My brother bought a 2013 black 1.75 tbi QV one with a partially rebuild engine. The whole engine has been apart at a Alfa Romeo dealer in the Netherlands and a bill with it of almost 9000€. They fitted a new stage 2 turbo on it as well. It has a downpipe and other things done to it. It looks great and drives very well. Only i have a feeling like the power is a bit to much for frontwheel drive. It should have over 300hp as it is tuned. The engine repair has been done 300km before he bought it. He paid 13K for the car. It also comes with Brera 19 inch rimms.
@@karlos1060 You can always switch to normal or all weather mode so it will activate esp earlier and limit power when wheel slip. Or just detune with different map... 😃👎🏻

Hey bro first of all great video! Second of all I wanted to request/suggest a video where you show how we can make the buttons (especially the ones on the steering wheel) work better, since Ive seen that a lot of Alfa drivers have a problem where the buttons don't work or don't work right (they need to be pressed really hard or multiple times). Appreciate it man, keep up the good work 🎉
Arguably for an older Giulietta the place to be is a 1.4 TB not an MA as it'll likely be more robust. I have one and even stock it's fast enough for the driving I do. The low down torque is great. I've had mine about 2 months now.
My only slight problem with the car is the fuel economy isn't great. My old 1.8 Honda Civic was better. I've heard a Stage 1 remap can fix this. Car has been fully serviced and it's had 3 tanks of Super Unleaded but still has relatively poor economy.
@arcgarage Dunno I've had a 3.0 V6 Busso and I could get 30 mpg from it. The 1.4TB is only currently capable of 37 mpg which is relatively poor from a small capacity and apparently modern 4 cylinder. However it's roots are in the old Fiat FIRE engine from the 1980s so it may not be possible to get good economy from it easily. It sounds good for a mundane 4 cylinder which is a plus...
Oil is much more important for the petrol multiair engines. The oil is also the hydraulic fluid which drives the valves as there isnt a traditional cam shaft. Best to to stick with Selenia, though I believe younger cars are less fussy. My 2010 car (1.4TB 170hp) gives engine fault messages if Selenia is not used. Otherwise it's a fantastic car and I plan to keep it as long as possible, I still love driving it and the engine noise still turns heads.
Selenia isn't required as long as it meets the right spec its good.. selenia is low quality, especialy for its price. Motul is way better and keeps the engine a lot cleaner
As said, Selenia is of no good quality anymore... I've been following lots of oil lab testing and Selenia tends to hide its true values of oil/aditives mixture.
Beg to differ, I've had non Selenia used twice, each time I've received engine warnings. Both times changing the oil to Selenia had fixed the issue. My car is a very early car, that's why I said younger cars are less fussy. Remember the oil is being used as a hydraulic fluid, this does not form part of the normal ACEA specs. So Selenia is definitely required for some cars, I have the personal experience to prove it.
