Oh my! Oh my! I warm to that piece very much indeed. Super composition that kept my total attention throughout EVEN whilst enjoying my chicken broth soup and Scottish oak cakes on my sofa. 🤣
Sounds absolutely amazing on the mighty Walker. Congratulations to you John for learning it and getting truly involved in all of its musically sensitive moments. Well done to the nervous state of your page ‘presser’ overlooking the Cornish octopus in full action. Well done to Guy (where ever you are), for dreaming up this incredible piece.

Fascinating dramatic music. It was equally fascinating to read about Guy Weitz and his life and find out that his most famous student was Nicholas Danby. He visited Vilnius once with masterclasses when I was a student.

    Brilliant performance.
    A mighty organ, masterfully tamed!
    Keep up the good work.

Awesome John! Organ and organist at one here. I confess to not knowing this piece, but it sounds like I very much want to know it!

Cheers, Richard - it’s such a good work. I don’t play the second symphony which is much harder but that’s also worth looking at.

What an AMAZING performance! This work reminds me of Jongen, and the capabilities of Blackburn suit it well, even down to the strongly keening Swell strings (I usually prefer hearing Blackburn's broader/rounder strings in the Solo division, but the sharper Swell strings were perfect in this case).
