We know that the Sony DVD Upscaling Player DVP-SR510H has the HDMI port for the HDMI cables and the RCA cable for the RCA ports, but does the movies on DVD stay widescreen when one of those cables are plugged into the TV?
I bought one at my local Walmart a little bit before christmas, so it was a few weeks ago now, it was about 40 bucks and it was such a great deal in my opinion
Nice of you to set this dvd player for your mother. I am sure that your mother appreciates it. However, I had to laugh at your statement in regard to anyone over 40 having no idea how to use technology. That's very stereotypical! Some of us are actually over forty (and ... lol ... way over forty) and do just fine "using" technology and actually setting up our own devices without the assistance of anyone under 40. Hard to believe, right? lol (Remember Bill Gates is over forty). However, thanks for the video because I actually was wanting to know if batteries for the remote came with the new Sony dvd player and you answered my question. Setting this up for a friend (younger than 40 ... lol) and wanted to be sure that I have all the necessary components at the time that I set it it. Oh, and I already have the necessary HDMI cable (which does not come with the dvd player). Yes! I actually know what a HDMI cable is! Thanks again for your expertise! It is much appreciated. :)
If you didn't buy one yet just don't do it. Socks i got one 2 days ago still not working tried many CD DVD none of them worked i keep tilling me .playback prohibited area limitations
Probably couldn't have expected to get less info from a video of this type. But I'm sure you're making money nonetheless. I guess I'm in the wrong bidneth.

coolio
You could get a 4k upscaling blu ray player for that price. Which is worth it because it plays DVDs and blu rays.
@@thephilosopher5799 That’s true
@@thephilosopher5799 No you can't dickhead
Will this work with a vizio tv ?
If it has red/blue/white/yellow/green connections yes.
The yellow would go into the green port
Can It Actually Play All Audio/Video Formats ???
It depends on the disc type id assume
It's amazing how difficult it is to unbox a DVD player. It's like blowing up a 🎈, very difficult.....
I am 64 and how to hook up electronics.
Does it have a display?
No
I still use cds and dvds

in this video I was actually making fun of Jeremy from Geeks and Gamers haha
Im Still trying to hook this Machine up...and Aggravated that it has no Blu Ray like the one I bought last year did.
I was mocking Jeremy from Geeks and Gamers with the intro lmao
How does the upscaling look? Does it manage to clean up the 480p DVD image on a 1080p screen?
Bought one today at Target. HDMI and a remote
David DavisCrawford i bought two blu rays players at the flea market for $20 so i threw this away

Blu ray players are more simple. 2 cables: plug in to wall and HDMI. Buy one of them for as low as $50
Cost me $48
Price sounds about right
Im here because im tired of blue player problems and breaking.
