Partially true.
This was, as Tom rightly conveys, the show that officially snuffed out the candle that was the In This Light and on This Evening campaign. They would return to action for the Teenage Cancer Trust gig on the 26th March 2011 with two new songs, and all the omens were that the next record was being recorded. The reality, from what can be pieced together from the seemingly endless round of post-Chris interrogations they underwent, was that it was being attempted at this time rather than completed. So while the obviously sarcastic statement that this might be their last gig ever wasn't entirely correct, this tour was in support of the final album from this lineup. They never made another record together.
This show really was a Black Gold Greatest Hits Tour setlist...before Black Gold was even a thing. There's some songs here that would not be at all out of place if they played them in 2020. You Don't Know Love is something of a rarity these days, as is A Life as a Ghost.
I don't if it was actually the case but to these ears there appear to be some audio issues with Ed's drums from time to time. They sound a little subdued in places where they would normally be the full, chugging engine beneath the guitars and electronics. I don't know if it's a drum pad that's malfunctioning but there just appears to be minute audio gaps during some of the numbers (ERM=BD, for example). It's like looking at a painting you're extremely familiar with and realising that one of the colours isn't there. I could be wrong, but repeated exposure to their music has made me attuned to any differences.
Anyway, enjoy the end of the ITLAOTE tour live from Tempelhof Airport, which is I believe where the campaign actually started in January the year before (Hannah?). Life's a circle. Enjoy the music ;)

Love this setlist! ❤ The album ITLAOTE still has a special place in my heart because it was my introduction to Editors in particular the song Papillon. Honestly I miss this era, the whole album is so unique it sounded so different from what they released before ITLAOTE and what came after. Plus Chris Urbanowicz was still in the band. Damn, it's been 14 years, time flies so fast... Thanks for uploading the whole concert! Very much appreciated! 🙂

A surprise track, LIFE AS A GHOST (from the "CUTTINGS" session, no ?), and still FITF as closing number, before PAPILLON officially replaced it as the 🍒 on top of the cake....
