The Jetta is the "safe bet" when it comes to cars. It's blemish free and also completely featureless. It's like a Gin and Tonic, without the Gin, but in a *really* clean glass. It's the missionary position of cars.
The wheelbase is almost similar to A4 and the next gen Jetta will have the same chassis as the new A3. Jetta is a great buy because you het 80% A4 at 50% price.
Is this specific trim (interior colours, the white leather seats, and wood trims) available in Canada? I have not seen one around but I would love to get my hands on it.
u can buy a vento..n enjoy 85℅ features of jetta @ lower price..and vw neva compromise safety in any of its smallest models...this suggestion only applies fr dos hu r lookin fe a budget purchase... drive safe..
aswin ts im sorry? reliability? check engine lights and vws are practically the same thing. wafer thin hyundais? hyundais might be the shittiest cars to drive, which btw is now a thing of the past but they arent wafer thin. your comment only demonstrates how sterotypical your thinking is. im not hating on the jetta if thats what ull get aftet.
Excellent review. But this seems to be a strict 4 seater for 20+L, won't it be cruel to one guest wants to accompany with a family of four for a trip:-)
Anonymous Guy thre lot of techies and others in india have the cash to buy this proffessional wokers they really dont want chauffers and the ones who hate japanese
My theory is that pertain was completely drunk. I've driven the Jetta and many other vehicles even one segment higher... Observation: Jetta safety is like no other
According to consumer reports, toyota/lexus are the most reliable brands. While VW stays at the bottom. Too many complaints about VW, such as fucked rear lights, stalling engine, etc. VW betrayed you and its expensive parts. Go figure.
Joseph Doe you are Absolutely correct. Even I had gone through several consumer complaint as per Autocar magazine, about transmission problems. But VW has never ever replied to beggings of the customers. If have money to burn for no reason then VW is the right company
Wonderful review. I just purchased this model (in America) and I am very happy!!

I hope they've fixed the problem of mice being able to enter the Jetta. I've had nothing but trouble with that from day one!
Nobody buys a 1.4 TSI Jetta in India. Please review the 2.0 TDI version. Thanks.
Rumors are that VW India is bringing in the 1.8 tsi soon. just hope it's true

Benny A yeah but these type of cars r mostly for chauffeur driven bosses so this may be a good car only for luxury not space.

is it having a keyless entry

Bhai cricket kit bol dete😅
well here I am watching the jetta review by Ashish
Why is jetta considered luxury when it's cheaper than a Civic? (In my country anyway,PH)
Mr. Parag Parikh died couple of days back in a Jetta at not very high speeds and while all 6 airbags deployed
Airbags only reduce collision impact, plus side hits (in this case) are the worst when it comes to car accidents.
My theory is that pertain was completely drunk. I've driven the Jetta and many other vehicles even one segment higher... Observation: Jetta safety is like no other
it wasn't jetta's fault. God wanted him to come !
No touch screen infotainment?
Yishu Singh no
But trust me it's good because sometimes it's easier with buttons
This is German best quality in segment
jetta haven't touch screen?
touch screen is available in jetta bro
