I was disappointed in the heel cup of the Triumph 20 and think the Shift may be better. They are offering a 2E in the new Shift. I am slightly wide foot but wonder if the regular would do.
This review may have just sealed the deal for me. I've been mainly rotating between the Shift v1 and Kayano 27 (as well as several others) for those easy/recovery/slow long runs and was happy with that rotation. But now with the Tempus taking top stop for easy runs, and Endorphin Pro 3 taking top spot for LD racing, I'll go Tempus and Shift v3! Now I just need to see if Speed 3 is stable enough to replace my beloved and rockered Zoom Fly 4 and I'll have a solid 5 shoe rotation with Saucony. Kinvara, Tempus, Shift, Speed, Pro.

Hmm, I have recently been running in Speed 1 for workouts (and Pro 3 for racing) and have lately found that whenever I go back to my old version Triumphs (ISO 5) and even 19s for easy runs my running form just goes to pot. I wonder if that means I prefer the rocker style and would like the Shift??? I have been put off by the size of the shoe but if it is lighter than the Triumph 20 maybe that shouldn’t be the case …
I had the 19 and the 2 of both shoes, i really tried liking the 2. I think the 4 MM drop puts too much pressure on my Achilles. Pretty excited about the stack height increase on the 20 and the 3. Great comparative. I don't think both shoes belong in my rotation. Its kind of an either or situation here. Thanks.
Shift has been 💩for V1 and V2, Triumph has been 🧱 for years. Bought the Triumph 20 and it is an excellent all around trainer but chose to not get burnt 3 times on the Shift. The Shift feels unneeded in the lineup.
Would you recommend an Endorphin Shift 3 or Novablast 3 for my daily trainer? Currently using Endorphin Speed 2 as my tempo shoe and thinking which daily trainer i should get for my easy mile. Thanks in advance !

The shift isn’t as flexible. It has more of a platform.
