@google Compared to the Pixel 3, the fourth family has only one selfie camera and autofocus has been removed from it, this is a minus, why remove it, what works better? The question is open! Everyone puts ultra-wide-angle cameras on smartphones, but Google thinks that zoom is more important to users - that's why the Pixel 4 just has a dual camera with the zoom that Apple has had since 2016, although Google insisted that they did not need a second camera for optical zoom, each year they contradict themselves. Next year, they will add a third ultra-wide camera and a self-focusing camera with autofocus. Maybe the main camera in Pixel 4 is very good and it is slightly better than in the previous generation, but it would have been earlier if Apple had not worked out its deep fusion and night mode as it should on iPhone 11, in pixel 4 there is no such separation from competitors as was earlier in comparison with pixel 2-3 versions, competitors worked out software algorithms. The video, as it was 4K 30 frames, remained, the competitors already have 4K 60 frames on the front camera, but what the hell is Google? put another sensor that can record 4K video 60 frames, purely for video, if the IMX 363 is so good for the photo part, leave it too, there is only two cameras in the back, and on the front, put the sensor up to 4K 60 frames, the prices are almost the same same as Apple, but in the aggregate and in general worse!
"iPhone and Pixel do a better job at night time" 2:49 first picture, S10 is far the most detailled less "over-brightened" --> look a the sign .. You are right about the darker pictures, however I hate how much the other two blow out light all the time like in 3:20, makes the pictures useless
The S10+ has an amazing camera software and editing options. Most of the camera comparisons are just point and click. No click to focus or post edit Most people pick the picture that's brighter even if its not realistic, the second thing Most Pic is full picture focus over detail and sharpness even though the best cameras clearly take background out of focus to hyper focus on the primary target for more detail and clarity.
Hmmm I’m not so sure about your choices with night video, I had the opposite picks. The iPhone is cleanest and preserves highlights. The Pixel looks like an LCD with backlight bleed and the Samsung is in between. Sure they give you something to see straight away (noisy mess in the shadows). I wonder what the iPhone footage would look like if you boosted the shadows, probably just as noisy I guess but at least you don’t also have white blobs for lights :)
one suggest : i think on video stabilization is not 100% real, because phone in middle doesnt shake like phone who is in left and right, because middle is 30% more stable.
That's what I was thinking, the S10 is in the middle and seemed the best to me. They need 3 sets of tests rotating between which phone is in the middle to make a proper conclusion.

The pixel 4 has best video recording in my opinion. 1080p 60fps is more than enough. In the dark it does the best for sure. Galaxy s10 is really on point as well and the iphone right next to it but in the dark they lack on lighting. Sound quality sounds great on the pixel 4 as well as on the galaxy s10 the iphone 11 needs some adjustments to that. On the picture side the galaxy pixel 4 and iphone looks the most realistic in coloring and shades in the day time. But at night the galaxy is hands down the best. All my opinions coming from an iphone xs user.
I think all the camera’s are fine. If someone needs a better camera than any of these phones then they need a dedicated camera. Very good review, you definitely put a lot of time into it. Thank you 🤓👍
The iPhone has the darkest video, but has the least noise and exposed the highlights the best. Photos could go either way, they’re all great. Daytime video is clearly the best on iPhone. Night mode on the iPhone is just as good and sometimes better than the pixel.
Thanks for the comparison! What is the processor of the Galaxy S10 +? Here in Brazil, at Samsung, the Galaxy S10 + with Exynos 9820 processor, this interferes with the quality of photos?
This is an excellent comparison video. Thank you so much. On eBay, right now, 03/2023, the Pixel 4 and Samsung Galaxy S10e are about the same price, around $40-$60. Also, if I may say, your girlfriend is lovely. :) I was looking for camera comparisons of people taken with the rear cameras. So many reviewers just feature front camera selfie photo comparisons, but the rear camera is usually superior. The photos I need would be for head shots, portrait-style.
The S10 has the best HDR, even in low light. That's important for me. In video quality I would place it in second. Overall: Daytime: S10 Portrait: not sure Low light: Pixel Video: iPhone
Great video. Glad i own the s10 plus, awesome phone. cant wait for the camera update ( night mode on front camera ,video live focus) and android 10 with One UI 2.0
I must see different things...Because S10 looks better to me in image stabilization and night time. check the highlights and inside the windows of buildings. ip11 and pixel overexposure in night time
The S10 has an obvious advantage with dynamic range. More details are visible in the night shots on parts that are lit up whereas the other 2 are generally overexposed and lose detail.
I thought the iphone was awful all the way around. Can't hear hardly either. I think overall best phone is the S10. Loved the video. It was great to see them side by side compared! Thanks for a great video.
I really love your review man, You have given me the best review so far in this kind of comparison , but i think ill still go with the Pixel because it is missing very little things compared to the s10 and iphone 11 I prefer the Google Pixel 4xl
I have an S10+ and whilst most times it is a good camera, the one test no youtuber covers is motion blur. At an indoor birthday party trying to get clean good looking photos is super hard. when the subject even moves the tiniest bit you get a horrible blurry image. Often lots of noise too. Pls pls pls include some indoor shots in dim lighting with moving subjects (pets, kids). As a parent that would massively sway my buying decision over a tiny bit of dynamic range
it's difficult to take 3 identical pictures or a moving child indoors... and if I do and in one picture the subject moved than the hateful comments will flood this video :) so I personally avoid that

Your audio test is not good because the iphone sound is only on the left channel, the pixel 4 is on both channels equally, and the S10 is biased towards the right channel. To be fair, all of the audio tracks should have been centered when editing on your NLE.
Bro. Let's talk about night photos the light is very clear in S10 than others specially at 3:16 you can read the name of the (cofe) also clear light sources so this very close to reality in the Contrast and color gradient , see the graduation between the dark & the lights should be difference like S10.
How can you say the iPhone is the worst at night? I personally would use the iPhone material and make it a bit brighter in postproduction than using the wobbly Samsung S10 material. That's not even usuable. I myself own a Samsung S7 and I'm surprised how bad the night shot capabilities of the S10 are. I'd expected more tbh. Also the weird beauty shot filter for selfies is so bad. That actually makes me keep my S7 a few more years.

The s10 u have settings wrong in portrait pics. You have some sort of beauty mode which is messing with the images. Same happens on Huawei p30 if beauty mode is on
Hi Alex, Just want to correct something you said. You said the Dynamic Range is better on the samsung on the picture of the tree. That's not actually the case. You mentioned this because the shadows werent as dark in that photo and therefore you thought the Dynamic Range was better. What samsung does is expose 1 stop higher than the others which allows them to get more shadow detail but they do this at the cost of blowing out highlights. The camera from samsung will always, without fail be trying to retrieve highlight detail, while the cameras from the pixel and iphone are trying to retrieve shadow detail as best as they can. its a different philosphy of computational photography. In that same picture, look at the red leaves and the sign at the back which has been blown out by the s10 because it exposed 1 stop higher. Its trying its best to retrieve detail in the highlights but it couldnt manage. Whereas the pixel exposed that correctly. This different philopshy makes samsungs photos have less contrast and gives them a washed out look sometimes.
Pixel doesn't have wide angle ,macro, depth n other crucially trendy sensors like other competitive devices .videography on Google pixel 4 seems to be inferior so dxo has also Given 112 point which is quite low score as compared to other rivals on the market
I agree, I've got thepixel 4 xl and every pic looks so filtered and nothing ever looks natural on it. everything seems filtered, especially the front camera it looks like a teenage IG filter, plus it gets real grainy when you zoom in.
I kind of thought that the audio on the Pixel was the best, and that the night sight _somewhat_ over shadowed Iphone's version; but then again, night sight is for more of a still image than the others.
I think you are completely wrong about iphone video recording at night. Yes it's darker but look at light and how it handles also the footage if you zoom it you will notice it's much cleaner especially compared to the pixel. Anyway great job so far my friend
Can we get this video to 500 likes?! Pretty please and thanks!

Just want to correct something you said.

Your trippin, you obviously have the iphone 11 becuase most of your answers about the pixel 4 & S10 sound biased.
Gf is so cute❤❤
she is indeed
Pixel doesn't have wide angle ,macro, depth n other crucially trendy sensors like other competitive devices .videography on Google pixel 4 seems to be inferior so dxo has also Given 112 point which is quite low score as compared to other rivals on the market

Can u make comparison with Oneplus 7t?
unfortunately OnePlus doesn't want to send review units...my channel is too small supposedly
You filmed this in cambridge right? I could say as i live there. Great video btw.
Imo the pixel still king of still and portrait photos
i, prefer the S10 Galaxy i was confused everytime you picked IPhone over Samsung
we all have different taste in pictures, nothing wrong to liking the pictures from the iphone or the s10 more
I agree, I've got thepixel 4 xl and every pic looks so filtered and nothing ever looks natural on it. everything seems filtered, especially the front camera it looks like a teenage IG filter, plus it gets real grainy when you zoom in.
Love you bro
Thanks for watching!
I kind of thought that the audio on the Pixel was the best, and that the night sight _somewhat_ over shadowed Iphone's version; but then again, night sight is for more of a still image than the others.
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts!
I think you are completely wrong about iphone video recording at night. Yes it's darker but look at light and how it handles also the footage if you zoom it you will notice it's much cleaner especially compared to the pixel. Anyway great job so far my friend
You don’t have to agree with me, that’s why you have the videos and pictures side by side, so you can come up with your own conclusion
Great video, salutes from Honduras! Are you using the Pixel XL or the normal version?
The normal version in this video
The Samsung also had some bright areas a little too blown out in regular photos
