Yeah. It smoothed out idle & the throttle responses a bit too. But done with the removal of the Secondaries Butterflies from the Throttle-bodies make for great throttle responses. Feels like the throttle is connected to the motor, Not a remote control and no power dip at around 7000rpm that all Bandit 1250's have.
Hi I did not notice, first you to connect all 4 vacuum tubes to one cylinder to check if the 4 tubes are reading the same otherwise you will get a faulty reading
Hi. No it wasn’t possible to test all 4 on 1 throttle body. As the brand-new tool did not come for four into one Barb and with only one little barb on each manifold it wasn’t possible. Any small differences in each balancing will be taken care of by the Vacuum tube to balance up on each individual manifolds.
You don't need a 4 to 1 connection, you could have just tested each tube in the same carb one at a time to confirm that they are all the same level before you start to tune. I to made the same mistake when doing mine the first time. Just trying to help.
Hello, to leave the perfect equalization, you need the "SDS", to lock the stepper motor ..... otherwise, it would always try to correct and the information on the vacuometer will not be faithful !!! Best,
Hello! I will have to balance my gsr 600 cause I have very strong vibration on riding :( did you find less motor vibration after synchronization of body throttle? Thanks
i am trying to tune my GSF650 K7 using carbtune, dealer mode on, carbtune hoses installed, but i am having a hard time in keeping the bike idling properly, it dies down and i had to keep it revving so it doesnt die down, any advice on what could be wrong? also you mentioned something about restrictors, what exactly are they?
I don't know what's wrong with your idle. Have a look or sign up to Suzuki Bandits Australia and ask there. lots of good blokes with experience on there! The Carbtune has 4 little black pipe joiners in the kit. Put them in the middile of the rubber tubes, They slow the air down and make it easier to tune the throttle bodies.
Thanks mate, yes i saw that thread, i did make that mistake of not using the restrictor pipes, i have put them now, will try a sync again on the weekend and see how it goes.
Hey mate, I've got the similar GSX650F. How did you know what sync values to use? I've searched the net but found nothing definitive. Suzuki dealer didn't even know what i was talking about
Hi +MrMeetone. I used the workshop manual. And the bloke that showed me, did so on the gsx650f and a "How to" with pic's of the 650 on Suzuki Bandits Australia Forum!!! worth a read!

Nice, did mines today! wish they were as smooth as that!

@@savneo that's good to know 👍

Best,
Hello what would be SDS?
@@LoboMotos It is the motorcycle ' s program software for diagnostics.
Love it, looking to have mine done now - do I just ask to have my throttle balanced? Is that what its called?
Hi. Yeah mate, that what it’s called.
tell me please how do you know to synchronize to 26cmHg? and no less and no more?
So did you use the restrictors for this vid? I use mine and the bars barely move.
Hi +Ivar The Boneless Yes this was my second go at it, as I forgot to put the restriction pieces in the hoses the first time. :-/

Sorry +Jvani83 I just seen your post, But yes. It did smooth out the vibs.

I figured it out, it was because i didn't have restrictor pipe in place, all good now had a perfect sync.

+reardo38 that's great thanks for passing that info on. much appreciated
Did it make much difference?
Didn't know you could do that to a 1250.
Yeah, Most multi Carb or throttle body engine should be done from time to time.
As long as you drop it off here. lol
