In a world of screaming and shouting and doing stupid simpleton acts for clicks, this series is a slice of heaven. The tone and the pacing, and the level of informative narration, while not becoming a "how to" is, to my mind, perfect. I consider the term "Legit" to be high praise, and this series, and particular episode is 100% legit. Thank you for taking the time.
That badge is just gorgeous.
Thank you Chris for using the old famos '' Frankfurter Adler '' crest on your beautiful Cars ... greeting from Germany !
Greetings and congratulations, You're the first to identify the origin of the Crest! My Great Grandfather spent time in Frankfurt before coming to the US. Frankfurt is also the birthplace of the Great German Eigenbau racers after WWII. These are the reasons I chose the Coat of Arms to include Frankfurts Crest! Cheers!
I've been following this channel for years. I'm never disappointed. One of my goals in life is to build my own work of art, using this channel as a source of inspiration.
Perfectly fitting that the head badge requires the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail as does making the car itself.
unreal work, a true chaftsman, fred barnes
very impressive, that's got to be the nicest badge i've seen, perfect last touch to the car.
What an absolute craftsman!
Thanks for the inside look at this process, I absolutely love to see how things are made, and the nickel plating was great 💪
I am in awe of all craftsmen and craftswomen, and I love to learn about all kinds of processes. This, to me, is why UA-cam is the best thing on the internet. Thank you for broadening my knowledge!
AI can't do that. Great craftsmanship joined with technology. Thank you.
Chris. I have been following this build and all of your videos, and you are truly the king of aluminum bodied cars.
refined touches , with the organic look of your one of a kind cars is what makes them so special…i have never seen this technique for nickel plating before…amazing ! I’m surprised that you actually sub out work…most everything else is hands on yours, which is so impressive to me.
can’t wait to see your next projects! keep ‘em rolling!
Attention to details is what makes the difference, and what a detail that was!
Wow! Beautiful.
I just had a vision ,your car but instead of aluminum, COPPER,body , I'm Edward HENDERSEN , my concept car ,THE AUDI TT , Was my brain child , if you take a Frisbee and cut it in half and look at the side profile you will see the design for the front and rear of the car .then I put a VW roof on it laid the front supports back and sloped the roof down and there you have it the poor man's Porsche 😊 my pride and joy , there was a problem with the transmission, a rivet in the shifting fork , easily replaced by a bolt , I know how proud you must feel of your work, and I am excited for you 🤘😎🤘
Thanks again for another great video. Definitely very interesting to see the process to making these badges.
Definitely very tedious process!
Very cool to see another step in your process. Thank you for sharing these.
That was cool to see that process. Like making Jewelry!
Hand made rules! That was brilliant, such craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Absolutely superb! That truly is a work of art Chris.
Beautiful work, both of you! 😍👍🏻
Spectacular
That's the perfect last touch😎👍🔝🔝
I really liked the copper too, but I know that it would patina over time unless there would be a protective lacquer used.
Gorgeous work, must take a lot of hours
cool
I have a newfound respect for the craftsmanship involved in producing a badge such as this. Wondering if this process is akin to cloisonne.
it is very similar to Cloisonne, I machine the cavities vs. bending flat wire. Probably close to Champleve.. Thanks - Jeff
German craftsmanship at its best but in MN.😊
Mega Job!!! Very inspiring!
Это великолепный бриллиант!!!😊
Эмблема - 🔥💓🔥
Beautiful work. FYI the link to Jeff's channel is not working.
Thank you, edited the link- should be working now!
My channel should be up, however at this point there is no content. that is coming soon! Thanks! - Jeff
Is this actual glass frit that he uses or is it actually enameling with powdered glass? This is really cool.
I had a couple people ask this on FB as well… Jeff says he is using “Leaded Powdered Glass”.
@ Correct, This is glass that is made in sheets with colorant added to that process. then they break and grind the sheets of glass into a fine 80-100 mesh powder
Thanks for asking!
А автомобиль, название?? Капля? Росинка?
