In the late 90s only Norway saw his talent. He blew up there first before becoming a star in his own country. Norwegians have good taste.
So pure and loaded with emotional value as Trance was meant to be. . . Just listen to it !

Wow just wow. I remember I always taped the Judge Jules show and of course he always got tunes way ahead of release. All I remember him saying about this tune was Dj Sakan and friends - David's song. But I always knew that wasn't it. It's been 15/16 years since I last heard this and I have been searching for years. Thanks for the upload - one of my favourite classic trance tunes, so many memories.

The best tracks from tiesto are adagio for strings and silence but this.. this is amazing guys forever
Then you should dive deeper into his discography, because Adagio is a cheesy EDM track probably created for big rooms (to not say it's utter shit and Tiësto just tried to remix it because Ferry Corsten did an awesome job on its own version and I guess Tiësto wanted to make some profits as well), and Silence, well Silence is way too overrated in my opinion. I like it but it doesn't give much emotions. DJ Tiësto early work is far better than those two tracks.
I can mention a few tracks that I love from him : Passenger - F.A.H, Loop Control - Exceptionnaly Beautiful, Loop Control - Reflections, Clear View - Never Enough. This is a very essence of DJ Tiësto.
And you can still listen to his compilations (I recommend Forbidden Paradise 1-4, Magik 1-6, In Search of Sunrise 1-3) to get an idea of what was the Trance this dude loved to play and compose. And after that, I think you will not have the same opinion about Adagio. But maybe it's just a matter of taste, of couse.

Before Dennis Waakop Rijers started producing for him? I know they met in '98, but this sounds very different from that 2000s sound of Tiësto.
+Hugo Hakvoort Cor Fijneman co-produced alot of his tracks in the late 90's and I think worked in his record store. At least. you can see him as well as DJ Montana in the "documentary" another day at the office.

This and "Sparkles" (another "DJ Tiesto" single from 1999) are co-produced by Cor Fijneman, not Dennis. At that point Dennis was engaged only in remixes under 'DJ Tiesto' banner.
