I love it and like it better than the pecotin. Its bigger, taller and more useful. The shoulder strap is gorgeous and worth every penny. I would choose this over the picotin or garden party any day.

I loved this bag immediately when I saw it pop up on Hermes BonBon. Especially in Beton or Etoupe with the contrast stitching! I personally love a bucket bag style and this is so simple and chic x

I was at 24 Faubourg last month, was offered an In the Loop 18 and a Picotin Nata Lucky Daisy. Looking at them side-by-side the Picotin has a more elegant (yet cute) design. I especially love the Picotin’s equestrian heritage, and the lock really makes it feels special. In the end I passed on the In the Loop and took home the Picotin (and another REALLY NICE bag 🥰).
OMG I LOVE IT!!!! It would be beyond gorgeous in the touch version. And the closing loops look like they’d allow for a shoulder strap. Ahhhh I want it now! 🫣

I'm sure this new bag is very sophisticated and well made and all that, but it's boring to me. But I'm clearly not the target market for a bag like that (or any Hermes bags lol). I imagine this being worn by a very wealthy mature woman who has a house at the Hamptons... Maybe she would get this in gold and bring it with her to the cafe, then carry it on a brief walk along the beach, with her orans in hand... I'm sure it's practical, just a bit understated for my taste! But that is the essence of Hermes anyway. I feel like the kind of person who would buy this bag is someone who actually appreciates Hermes craftsmanship and loves the brand, not all these fakes who claim they appreciate the brand but they only want B, K or C 😂 That's the "social media effect" in my opinion, and Hermes is probably sick of it, what with all the drama it causes. Hermes was never meant to be some flashy status symbol brand for influencers, it was always meant to be a silent symbol of wealth, probably for "old money" types. The kind of status symbol where you actually had to be rich to recognise it, otherwise to everyone else it just looks like you're carrying some plain bag you could've gotten for $200 from anywhere. It was supposed to be like "stealth wealth" but now social media has pretty much ruined that.

But living in the north east in America, New England, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, I can’t wear these bags because I’ve got big coats and gloves. None of these handheld bags can even go on the crook of my arm over my coat so it’s a no . The versatility is lost. When you buy an expensive beautiful bag with gorgeous leather, you don’t want to be limited . All of these bags are summer bags, even if they do, have cool bottoms

Now two bags are starting to look REALLY good to me: - fuschia pink LV Alma bb (to celebrate my firstborn daughter and I can gift it to her at 18 yo) - python handle grey LV Capucines bb (so classy and I have the perfect shoes for it lol) TLDR; what happens after the dream bag 🥺
Absolute Picotin Vibes 💕 I saw the bag poppig up at the online Store and I was very tempted to add it to card especially in the nata colour.. but since I am on shopping ban and already have a lovely Picotin I will pass on this for now 🙊 love the details on the bottom and the handles
It’s pretty but I’d prefer a Picotin. And I’m tryyyyying not to buy handheld-only bags. They look great but… I hate every minute I carry one around - and can’t wait to get home and switch it out. 😅

I like the story on how the Picotin was created, general aesthetics, the lock, the price and feet but I definitely see the appeal with the different shape and details on In the Loop bag especially for someone who has a variety of Hermes bags or a varied handbag collection. I saw it in Hong Kong yesterday. A black 18. I think if it was not Hermes that produces it, you will simply go “what an ordinary overpriced bag”. 18 is quite cute though. It costs 7203 AUD from Hermes and the mark up is substantial in the pre-loved market, sometimes x2, though I have seen that they have been listed for a while. The SA who attempted to sell to me say you will look so much cooler when majority is still using the Picotin and you will stand out. I would rather spend the equivalent amount of money to a bag which actually has designs, such as Chanel (difficult with the price hike) or a Dior tote bag. Don’t get me wrong! I like the mini Kelly 2 and the Birkin. It may potentially be a challenge to sell this bag as it is relatively unknown and there may not be that many people out there who appreciates the aesthetic (the SA simply explained to me it is a more complicated bag to make) and you can always buy a Picotin at much more reasonable price. I came across your video as I was searching for the loop bag review. Great content and objective analysis! Will come back more often.
