Have an HD12 i bought a few years ago and NO one could tell me how to hook it up! Even the tractor dealership I bought it through had no idea. Thanks for posting!
Your tractor manual should show you where you can hook up to the reservoir took me forever to find mind in the manual. I jimmy rigid my own fitting has worked very well.
I made an adapter just as you described and according to the manual. I have a Kubota L6060 and I had to use both ports on my hydraulic outputs. This works well for me. Using the return reservoir fitting would not work on my tractor.
I called Shaver to get the adapter so the blasted thing will work. They had me call a distributor in my state. They wanted $96 for it. Are you kidding me? I paid $3,600 for the thing and they want an extra $100 for the adapter? Got to love the equipment world.
Well, at least you have an adapter. I have a Mahindra 4510 and bought the HD8 and they do not have an adapter. They sent me a generic junk adapter for a hundred as well, and it leaks everywhere. I have tried to 3d print one out of carbon fiber, but it isn’t strong enough. Very disappointed with Shaver.
@@cabodj I got the adapter but it didn’t work. The threads didn’t line up. Lost a lot of good hydraulic oil that day. Take @bdradley1 advice and have a machine shop make you one.

Yes mine was over $100 and I ended up having a machine shop get it for me at $21! Glad you found it
