Absolutely LOVED stage 5 of this, the stupid little remarks parappa makes at 17:57, the MASSIVE amount of free styling compared to most of the other songs and fucking EXPERGATION at 17:08 with the game even giving you points for it was amazing. TASing rhythm games has always been awesome to me due to the satisfaction of hitting all the notes perfectly (or in this games case) the silly little free styles that go around and even if I’m really late it’s still neat to see parappa fans still alive even after stuff like FNF has lost most of it’s relevance.

If it was possible to do this on an actual PS2 console, I honestly think that would be amazing. Also the cool mode skip in Stage 2, 3, 6, and 7 that’s actually really smart, considering the small pause when you’re about to enter a lesson, or in stage 6, when there’s a slight pause in each line you finish in good mode, or on stage 7 where PJ interrupts them, and that extra line when you’re about to enter Lesson 4. The time finished was 29:47, but the time legally starts when you press start on the title screen, so if you subtract that by 14 seconds, you get 29m 33s. I’m also impressed that you credited yourself at the very end of the video.
It actually is. The basics of it is using mode shifts to skip forward a few lines or skip around transition phases. With good enough timing and skill, you can do that yourself. Though not with this much entertainment factor to go with it. XP

Absolutely LOVED stage 5 of this, the stupid little remarks parappa makes at 17:57, the MASSIVE amount of free styling compared to most of the other songs and fucking EXPERGATION at 17:08 with the game even giving you points for it was amazing. TASing rhythm games has always been awesome to me due to the satisfaction of hitting all the notes perfectly (or in this games case) the silly little free styles that go around and even if I’m really late it’s still neat to see parappa fans still alive even after stuff like FNF has lost most of it’s relevance.

If it was possible to do this on an actual PS2 console, I honestly think that would be amazing. Also the cool mode skip in Stage 2, 3, 6, and 7 that’s actually really smart, considering the small pause when you’re about to enter a lesson, or in stage 6, when there’s a slight pause in each line you finish in good mode, or on stage 7 where PJ interrupts them, and that extra line when you’re about to enter Lesson 4. The time finished was 29:47, but the time legally starts when you press start on the title screen, so if you subtract that by 14 seconds, you get 29m 33s. I’m also impressed that you credited yourself at the very end of the video.
It actually is. The basics of it is using mode shifts to skip forward a few lines or skip around transition phases. With good enough timing and skill, you can do that yourself. Though not with this much entertainment factor to go with it. XP
