@@oopsydaizi3s824I don't blame you on Ministry. Their take on industrial metal inspired Fear Factory BIG TIME as well as my other fav industrial metalists like Static-X and Rammstein. Oh and if you all wanna hear some amazing indus metal influenced by FF, look no further than Mnemic and Sybreed. No thanks are necessary 'cause y'all be hooked for hours.
Top 5 Not in order: Remanufacture by Fear Factory Roots by Sepultura Self-Titled album by Korn Contradictions Collapse by Meshuggah Astro-creep 2000 by White Zombie
I'm gonna take a guess and label the # in the order you listed them. Let me know if I'm right or wrong..... If you feel like it🤷🏻♂️ # 1 # 3 # 5 # 2 # 4
@@fallingacrossthestairs3136 I just realized I wrote, Remanufacture. I meant to say Demanufacture. As for the order you guessed. Not sure if that is correct. I’d say yes some days, and others, no. Each were equally important to my path in metal. I will definitely agree Between Meshuggah’s Contradictions Collapse & Fear Factory’s Demanufacture albums those definitely battle for my most important albums of influence. Fear factory for getting me into rhythm’s & patterns. Meshuggah for their introduction to polyrhythms. The other 3 can be shuffled as ties for 3rd place.
@@harveytrevino2257 That's kinda how it was with me. Not so much about patterns and poly-rythms, initially. That music just hit me right and I went with it. Now I've been more about learning about different techniques and such, adding to the appreciation of the craft, whoever the band is. With that, it even got me to listen to bands that I couldn't get into back then and now have them in my general music playlist. Demanufacture has a place in my heart for sure but, my favorite has to be Obsolete. From that album I'd have to say that, even with my love for functional chaotic sound, Resurrection is my favorite track off that album. As far as Meshuggah, I first heard them with the album Nothing. That alone had me listening to everything they put out before. As of this day, I'm blown away by their progression over their 2 decades in music. Sounds just as chunky and complex as they have been. Masters of their craft, even as far as to say, in my opinion, they could be their own genre. Djent, sure but, they own it, hands down. Masters my friend. Sorry for the long winded response. Talking about metal in general puts me in a good mood. Oh yeah. The fact that Meshuggah have had the same members their whole career, I think. Not sure about the Contractions Collapse and None days. Either way, I like your top 5. Ahh, just for the heck of it, here's my top 5, no particular order, from back then... Korn - Follow the Leader Five Pointe O - Untitled (Accidental find from the days of Napster/Limewire😄) Fear Factory - Obsolete Limp Bizkit - Significant Other Static-X - Wisconsin Death Trip Can you guess the order of my list? You don't have to. Just enjoying this and having fun🤘
@@fallingacrossthestairs3136 Limewire and Napster, you definitely come from the same vein as I do. Obsolete by Fear Factory is absolutely amazing. Beginning to end. I wish that Meshuggah would go back to their Contradictions Collapse/None feel. More thrash with polyrhythms. But I get it, music has changed since then. Look at Vildjharta or Humanity's Last Breath, to a lesser degree, Invent Animate. So heavy in slightly different ways, but equally powerful in presence. ❤️ If I judged your Top 5, I'd be biased. Lol.. I'm way too critical of the bands I love.
My Top 5 in no particular order. Dirt by Alice In Chains Slipknot by Slipknot Agent Orange by Sodom The Blackening by Machine Head Welcome to Sky Valley by Kyuss
Soundgarden - Superunknown Faith No More - King For A Day Fool For A Lifetime Rage Against The Machine - Self Titled Korn - Self Titled Dillinger Escape Plan - Miss Machine Definitely the top 3. Could change up the last two. Those were just two great albums that came to mind.
My favorites albums in general it's difficult but in metal i have to said: 1.-Iowa-Slipknot 2.-Painkiller-Judas Priest 3.-Train of Thought-Dream Theater 4.-Once-Nightwish 5.-Vigilance-Threat Signal
I know that it's stupid to say, but I was caught by surprise with U2... and of course, would be no shale to add Demanufacture to the list... a killer record from beginning to end...
sepultura-arise fear factory-demanufacture slayer-south of heaven sepultura-chaos a.d pantera-vulgar display of power. best of all time for me? pantera-cowboys from hell.
I don't like U2 but was good he chose a record he likes. One and three picks are amazing. Not heard much of exodus. I'm too young😂I was about 2 when that album came out.
How the time has gotten away from us. I still remember back in 1995 when demanufacture first came out and I was hooked to the music. Now I’m 43 still a metal head like always
So one day my friend and I went through his bulk, and we found a copy of metamorphosis. I was shocked, but sadly it was damaged... still amazing find though 😅
One of my all time favourite bands is Fear Factory but wish Id never met Dino, met him on 3 separate occasions. All spread years apart on 2 of those occasions he was nice but the 3rd and most recent one he was an arrogant douchebag.
Did not expect U2
Me neither 😂😂😂
Yeah me neither, but now i kind of hear edge’s influence with Fear Factory. I was expecting it to be Ministry or Rigor Mortis
I'm not surprised that Dino would pick a U2 album. He and the past Fear Factory members are longtime fans of U2 and The Police.

They have covered U2 on Transgression.
Saw fear factory live last week, and they were real good 🤟
First show I ever saw about 24 years ago! When I was 16!
still, it's pretty insane how Edward got that tight tone in 1978 and then Dino cranked it up in 1992, which still sounds modern by today's standards.
great way to finish the answer 😂

La Sexorcisto is much superior than Astro Creep

One of my top 5 is Obsolete
Their best album! Mayb after demanufacture
Obsolete is my favorite metal album of all time 🔥
That one is my favorite Fear Factory album, and also the first album I heard from them.
Wow! Did not expect Dino to say U2
Did he go from heaviest to lightest? 🤔
Yes, he actually reddemed himself a little by choosing U2.
You never know who your art will influence & how it'll influence them. Guarantee U2 & Van Halen never saw this coming😮
Bullet the Blue Sky is a killer track
Woah….didnt expect that last one
Uno de.mis guitarristas preferidos 🤘🏼

Great choices
Soundgarden - Superunknown

Rage Against The Machine - Self Titled
Korn - Self Titled
Dillinger Escape Plan - Miss Machine

Wonder what Dino thinks of the U2 cover FF did? Cuz he wasn't in the band when they did it!

1.-Iowa-Slipknot

slayer-south of heaven
sepultura-chaos a.d
pantera-vulgar display of power.
best of all time for me?
pantera-cowboys from hell.
I was expecting AC/DC not U2 although story goes he heard Burton singing a U2 song thus wanting him to sing for FF
What's the name of that song?
Cool beans
I don't like U2 but was good he chose a record he likes. One and three picks are amazing. Not heard much of exodus. I'm too young😂I was about 2 when that album came out.
I don't have a favorite album. It changes the older I get. It's definitely heavy music though. U2 is great also.
My top 5 are all yours 😂😂😂
I guess Fear Factory - Archetype didn't make the list
Tool lateralus
Smashing pumpkins siamese dream
😈💀😈
How the time has gotten away from us. I still remember back in 1995 when demanufacture first came out and I was hooked to the music. Now I’m 43 still a metal head like always
What wrong with Dino choosing U2 album ?
Everyone has the right to listen to many genres of music
why U2? 😱🥵😭
w
Hes getting thinner
U2 is gay
Ultra bland list
Besides Metallica, all of these bands suck.
Boring, predictable answers
