anyway, this is part 1 of prelims because it will continue true week after next TT ill be having my paper 1 for my three sciences and amath :)

just some advice from someone who finished o'levels last year.
1. *focus on one subject a day.* i think dedicating a whole day to one subject is better than cramping bits and pieces of information from different subjects in one day. focusing on one subject a day will help you to remember information much better since your mind is adjusted to one subject, hence your absorption of the information will be much better. i know this is your prelims and the papers for different subjects are back to back so i understand your studying pattern. however, for o's, you should try to focus on one subject maybe for two days, then study another subject for the next few days.
2. *start early!* i know, everyone is guilty of rushing the day before and it's okay. but since you still have some time before your o's start, start by studying the parts you were not able to finish studying for your prelims and also brush up on the subjects/topics you are weak in. also, don't forget the parts that you are strong in because it will definitely help you score during o's. don't slack off because o's is not over yet!
3. *it's okay to feel unprepared.* feeling unprepared for your exams (especially o's) is understandable. but feeling like you didn't do your best is not. even though it's very tiring, just press on for the next few weeks and try your best to study as much as you can. do your practice papers and memorise whatever you need to memorise (basically whatever you need and have to do). as long as you tried and did your best, just believe in yourself and take the paper. i never felt ready for any of my o's, but just put some trust in yourself. you haven't been working your ass off for the past few months to feel discouraged right before the exam.
4. *it's also okay to take a break at times.* during my o's, i still watched youtube videos and even got into a new kpop group (lol). it's okay to take a break, but don't over procrastinate. the amount of guilt you feel after that really makes you want to beat yourself up. but, you still deserve a break, so once in a while, watch some animes, scroll through your phone, but make sure you are taking a healthy duration break, not some 2 hour break just to watch mukbang or smth.
5. *good things take time.* for the next few months, just chiong and study as much as you can. you can chill as much as you want and take a well-deserved break after o's, so don't waste a single day now! do what you can, and do what you have to do so that you won't regret.
after all, just a note to everyone, grades aren't everything. there is still a place for you on earth despite doing well in your studies or not. prelim grades may scare you, but people mostly improve quite a bit for their o's. so to everyone who is stu-dying, just do your best and don't regret not doing more for yourself.

It was nice to see O level days back! I'm currently studying for my a levels in JC as well sigh I would do whatever to go back to O level ! Thanks for the motivation too! I also took elec geog but with pure history didn't like pure geog much as well!
