I would say that we can give the credit to Lani for the longevity of this union. (We know B Revilla’s history ). Naturally, doesn’t like to be described as , “martyr” - I would not want that too because it an old fashion pinoy term for a spouse who accepts and endures emotional, mental, psychological and physical abuse. I’m sure in their case, not physical abuse. But doon sa paghingi ng kamay ng daughter for marriage - she said it was Bong na “dapat ang nauna na sinasabihan” and “nagbibigay ng blessing” - goes to show she sees her husband is more revered than her or she’s kinda subservient. They should be equal. BUT, anyway, her strength and commitment is admirable. Thankfully happy ending.
