I actually got this figure and the fly-rig. Best $130.00 I've spent. I can literally pose it and angle it for reference poses. Made of sturdy plastic.

I waited a long time for my puppet to arrive, but hands-down it's the best poseable figure on the market! Well worth the price and I can only encourage @stickybones to please develop quadrupeds and maybe "extension" kits to create tentacles, tails, and custom appendages for creature-creation.

Not just for stop motion but great for posing for animation reference etc. I have 3 of them and imo best posable figures on the market!!

No part 2? I’m a stop motion animator, was recently turned on to Stickybones, but can only find box openings and reviews or the animation done by them..really curious what an experienced animator could do- or what problems they’d find.

Magnets! Ha! Is this the future?! I was still drilling holes into the wood a few years ago :D... Anyway, yeah, Ideally, you want the joints smooth as butter and hard enough to hold the body at the same time, heh. Especially if you do 24fps. :) It would be cool if you could somehow adjust the friction as you go...
And don't forget to show us your masterpiece!

Hey we both picked the same package! you might want to check the limbs on the hands since it is suppose to hold it self on one hand( on the metal thing) since it was advertises to do so and one of mine was, the other was REALLY loose for some reason in some limb parts. it might be late advice since i just saw this video now but i think you can ask about limbs exchange or buy new limbs once all orders been shipped. thought that might be for a while .but if you want people with multi limbs, or animals bodies you can also check out the armaturenine website. they also have customizable figures and they just announced new molds/models so i'm not sure how those new ones are they look to be around as good as Stickybones for about the same price.

It’s a bit gimmicky. There are actually cheaper versions on Amazon that work just as well for thumbnails. These might be better if you want to do a stop motion animation short.

Edit: I should add that i'm looking to buy this as an illustrator. Not for stop motion.
