Hope some of you found this helpful! I get a lot of requests to make stop motion tutorials, so I think all of my behind-the-scenes videos have plenty of information for you. I think this is the last BTS video for The Sky Below, so my next one will likely be a supercut of all of them.
The amount of time you put in these videos is insane, you should have at least one million subscribers
@@marcosvazquez5912 thank you so much man
it would be lovely if the algorithm agreed
@ MootroidXproductions I’ve been meaning to tell you all of this for a while now. For some reason stop motion animators get hardly any recognition on UA-cam, people don’t understand the time and effort put into animations. I’ve tried many times, put it is possibly one of the hardest hobbies. I could explain how hard it is, but I think we both know the difficulties and dedication of stop motion. It seems everyone liked your halo series so much that they don’t care about your other work ( like this one ), like all I see are comments asking “when will part 3 be out”, yet simply don’t care about you. ( that series by the way, is probably the best one out there ). An animator like you literally should have 1 million or more subscribers. I’ve been around for quite a while and I just wanted to let you know I appreciate all of your work. Thanks for taking the time to read
I got a question where did you get the armature from for the stop motion puppet I’m thinking of getting one myself
@@latheradom4148 stickybones
Your more original content may not get as much attention as something like your Halo content but I enjoy it just as much and appreciate the craftsmanship that goes behind it. Very lovely
thank you so much for that dude
@@mootroidXproductions Yeah, of course man
It's just crazy to see the whole process behind the project, it's amazing
I so get why glued the pants. I also understand why you regret it. That makes so much sense. Also, if you have that many small Einlis you could make a stop motion of Einli vs. Small Einlis. That would be awesome!
Another excellent bts! Really cool to see what your process was for making Einli. Also, I love the council of tiny Einlis in the back just watching
A nice behind the scenes
Einli is honorary bonk. He lives in the City of Silver universe.
deep lore. respect.
This is incredible! I totally underestimated how much work went into making Einli, it's really inspiring to see all of cloth, foam, rubber bands and engineering that went into him!
that was awesome, I’d love to make one lol
Wow, Good job!
Was waiting for this video tbh
I really enjoy this video, it gives the video more of a feeling of authenticity
That Stop motion puppet is awesome
it looks awesome!
Fantastic!
Amazing
Never watched this. Nice work man cool to see how you customized that sticky bones.
That's sick.
Cool
Why is this so underrated?? It's so good!
thank you dude
i think it's probably because youtube punishes me whenever i upload something without "halo" in the title
@@mootroidXproductions Apologies for the slightly late reply 😅. Was watching back over some of your vids and remembered that I was going to reply to this. Just wanted to say how amazingly fluid your animation is and how immersive your world building is. Hope you're doing well man
You're going to be the next Jim Henson's Creature Shop of stop-motion if you keep it up.
What a name to figure
cool
wear did you get the armature
Where can we buy the blue figure for the armature?
The boy....
Hey! What materials did you use to make the shoes and belt/straps for Einli? Amazing work btw!
Thank you so much for watching and enjoying it! That's all just fake leather. Plastic stuff with cheap polyester backing.
@@mootroidXproductions Thanks mate I appreciate the reply! Do you tend to keep the puppet after you're done with a project? Or would you dismantle Einli so you can use the armature for another project?
@@ikanimatics Yup, I always keep them, unless they're literally falling apart. I want to reuse him someday.
Hey! This is very off topic from this video, but in one of your less recent films The Last Colony, where did you source your walking sound effects from? I’m currently getting back into animating and looking for some good SFX to bring my short joke clips to life.
I get a lot of it from Soundscrate, and Adobe has giant packs of foley:

@@mootroidXproductions Awesome! Thanks a million, man. I love your stuff and you inspired me to get back into stop motion content. Thanks for being you, man. You’ve done me more favours than you’re aware of.
Can you make a video on how you made them
that's what this is
Weared you get that am armater or (the blue skeleton)
Only the neck is Bionicle. It's a Stickybones armature. You can find their website pretty easily on Google.
Should have known einli is part Bionicle now I know he's more of a skinny boy then before I kinda wanna see biology though probably would be hard and annoying to do so I definitely won't be asking for that anytime soon
Tasty
where did you get that armiture?
www.stickybones.com/
Thanks for watching!
Hi Mootroidxproductions, im here just to ask this little question, can you put a plot twist to the last colony part 3, what type of plot twist? you may ask, well the plot twist is that Bane survived.
I already have the script drafted, so any plot twists I may or may not have included are already set in stone. You'll see!
Understandable have a great day
do you have a name for him?
Where do you get those possible figures??
you can just google stickybones and it'll be easy to find their site
@@mootroidXproductions thank you so much. Also this is insane!! I love your Stop Motions.
Just for curiosity, how do you built the plastic armature?
You use a 3D printer or something similar?
Nope, it's a pre-made Stickybones armature. You can find their site on Google pretty quickly if you're interested.
@@mootroidXproductions Oh, wow amazing, thank's a lot!
Can you tell me the name of the site?
Thank's so mutch😁

Are you still working at Robot Chicken?
