I will add that most Homeworld veterans agree that the Homeworld Remastered Collection (specifically Homeworld 1) with the community patch mod is superior to Homeworld 3. The remastered collection goes in sale regularly for as low as a few dollars. Anyone interested in Homeworld 3 should try the original Remastered first.
Strongly recommend playing HW1 and HW2 from the remastered collection. After that review the game again :D I agree GFX great, Music good but not as good as previous games, Story... 2/10. Controls still bugged pending patches, path finding broken pending patch. The story is the only thing that ruins the game for me, the fact that there is currently no strategy in this RTS game can be fixed down the line.
As a hw vet from the original games... I skipped hw3 for now. The remastered versions of hw1 and 2 are way better stories wise, and are much better bang for buck. That said when hw3 goes on sale I'll strongly consider it. But there's not enough right now for $60
Homeworld 3 is not worth it, buy HW1 or 2 instead. The short story is DEI (Discrimination, Evil, and Injustice) trash and insufferable. They force you to the next map if you complete objectives and rehash fan fav things from HW1 to try getting you invested into the worse than dog shit story. The combat was only made a bit better after complaints from those who tried the beta. Again, not worth the price, buy Homeworld 1 or 2 instead
I'll even take Shipsbreakers, err... Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak Imean, over this game. GFX being upgrade doesn't mean anythinh (polishing a turd still means isn't sh*t your working with)

I'm here supporting Chip and his human, that is all.
Thanks for the review.
"It's very rewarding to keep Chips alive", and Chip agrees.

The HW3 campaign is hot garbage.
