Awesome video man and love the movie Joe dirt and seeing the Daytona from the movie that is so cool and I have the little toy car of the Joe dirt Daytona as well 👍
Hi Steve from David back in the out back in Australia - Good Springs, freshly picked pomegranates and pistachio, are great... thank you, Sir, and compliments to your friends! Your SEMA display is immaculate. I come from Nevada knowing that 'work ethic' made, ande makes America great. Cheerio!
That thing would look absolutely bad ass clearcoated. Like your Belair. Eight years ago, I did a patina finish on my Thunderbird because I loved how your Belair looked. I just redid it in hardened clear this year and it looks fantastic. You need to build a V8 diesel powered Joe Dirte Daytona. Slammed on some 24s.
@WelderUpVegas your welcome 🙏 you're such a cool 😎 guy. I have a picture of you and I at Pomona swap meet in front of your rig when it was green. I have it hanging in my garage . Friends like 👍 it when they see it .thank you
A friend of mine has a Polaroid picture of that Joe dirt car right after the movie was finished before anybody even knew the movie would end up being a hit or not ..... What's really sad is he almost bought it for a very good price because nobody thought it was worth anything since it was considered just a leftover movie car to the general public. Most people didn't realize it was a clean 'Plumb Crazy' car to begin with that actually has a lot of goodies in the drive train!!!!😮
@WelderUpVegas That was a really great segment on that car!! I wish I could have gone out there this year I have a MAD MAX/ZOMBIE POST-APOCALYPTIC car that I drove out to SEMA last year and the year before last but I couldn't make it this year!!! P.S. I'm gonna get that Polaroid from my buddy so I have it with me so if I see you guys anywhere in SOCA I think you're like to see it. If I remember correctly he could have bought it for around 12 grand at the time without even haggling for a better deal (could you even imagine?) He ended up buying a 197I 383 Road Runner instead and he kicks himself every time I send a video about Joe Dirt's car!!! 👀😑🤬 TTYL.🤘🤠👍
Joe Dirt is timeless. I wish I'd bought a Charger when they were 500 dollar cars. I went to school in 1978 with a guy that had a 69 that was wrecked in the early 70s. It was mostly green with white hood, orange fender and a blue door. We called it the General Custer. It was finally totaled when he hit a big whitetail buck at 120 mph on a drunken run from the cops in 80. I ended up buying a 700 dollar 396 Camaro and lived through my youth.
@@WelderUpVegas I bought it in summer of 81 it was a 69 Yellow with black stripes. My son put it back together last year with a 468 big block and a 6 speed Tremec.
@steve I bet out of all the cars u saw at sema I bet u wanted to take them all home with u that’s how I feel when I go to a classic car show I wanna take all the classic cars home with me lol
Joe Dirt is a pretty good comedy. Not really a Charger fan. Im more of a Bullitt fan. Id be more impressed if Brandy from the movie Joe Dirt were there. Id take her for spin!
Bonjour Steve, This event is just incredible, how can it exist yet when every "good thinking" person wants an electric iron, sorry, car. Two questions, did Lincoln learn you something about welding ? And who is/was Joe Dirt ? It reminds me nothing in France. Amicalement, Raphaël

I agree! A V8 diesel powered Joe Dirt Daytona would be pretty wild!
Steve you need to build a Welderup style Joe Dirt car that would be badass Procharged Hemi or 440.
Steve your awesome bro 🫵🏽😎👍
Appreciate it!

It's my favorite movie 🎬 😅
What kind of boots you wearing?
Thorogoods.
Jeff must be sick of talking about that joe dirt car 😂
Joe Dirt is a pretty good comedy. Not really a Charger fan. Im more of a Bullitt fan. Id be more impressed if Brandy from the movie Joe Dirt were there. Id take her for spin!

Amicalement, Raphaël
Just how to use their amazing welders. I have been welding since middle school.
🙏✌️
Like a kid in a candy store,,come on honey keep up
So true!
Pretty sure David Spade has the original. This one's a resto-mod reproduction
Oh, didn't know!
No this is the original,he bought it at Barrett Jackson for a chunk. Seen it on GMG and a few other things. One of my favorite movie cars for sure.
My friend Robbie bought it soon after the movie, I recall him telling me he paid 30 some thousand for it.
@@mikemckenzie3197
I know it sold for 300,000+10% at the Barrett auction, now that’s a profit.
Can confirm this is the original one from the movie. 😎
Drag you girlfriend o round like a dog lol. I understand the format but dam.
Shitelbuffout
Did he ever get David to sin it
They always say it's the real car, buut i have doubts about that.
come on welder up do better the commercials are disgusting , not like you need the money !!
I subscribed to your channel because of five words, EV junk and V8 gas power … 😂
👌😂Thanks for following along!
