How safe is South Africa for tourists? I will share with you my experience of 6 days in South Africa. South Africa is a beautiful country to visit but some places are not safe for tourists especially after dark. Cape Town is completely safe for tourism and it's one of the most beautiful places in South Africa. Johannesburg is not very safe for tourism.

Last week I visited alone 3 cities in South Africa for nine days, Durban, Cape Town & Johannesburg. I stayed in Johannesburg Fordsburg area where mostly Pakistani, Bangladeshi, are living. I moved in Johannesburg City centre near Ghandi Square alone but I feel it's dangerous, one of the taxi driver told me don't asked any body for help or don't allow to any body comes near you. Thanks God my tour is successful without any hassle.

@@Arham517 Cape town baki city sy safe hai but be careful specially in night, if you stay in 91 loop street hostel city bus tour office is very near where you can get different types of tour , you can take cape of good hope tour for one day, and also to use city bus tour to go table mountain. Thanks for your video.. I have been to Joburg, Durban and Capetown. You are right Capetown is a bit safer as compared to other two cities. Durban is the same as you told us about Joburg in regard to doing business. The shop have bars all around, as it used to be in Karachi about a decade ago. Shop owners do their business from behind this bars. No body is safe. People are looted, killed on the street. Should be very careful while roaming in the syreets of Durban and Joburg.

Hi Assalam alikum I differ with your views about Johannesburg I m living in Johannesburg they are some areas like in Harlem in New York are not recommended for travel but other than that no issues it’s safe for living and traveling Johannesburg is big city may be you travelled on those areas are not safe or met those who living in townships like you showed mr tabrez shop it’s in town ship we called spa za shop like ( parhcoon shop ) Pakistani are in involved in big business like mobile electronics computers construction manufacturing etc so brother next time ask to meet Pakistani who are involved in actual businesses thanks I hope you will understand.
