ABOUT THE GUEST:
Ryan Smith is founder of TruDiagnostic trudiagnostic..... Ryan received a BA in biochemistry from Transylvania University before heading to medical school in 2013. After passing USMLE Step 1, he decided to leave and open up a pharmacy in the United States that focused on peptide synthesis and formulations for pharmaceutical preparations. That pharmacy, Tailor Made Compounding, became the 4th fastest growing company in healthcare in the US and grew to 80 million in revenue within 3 years. Through this pharmacy work, Ryan saw the value of preventative medicine. Many of the physicians Tailor Made served were treating age as a disease and a primary outcome but needed better tools to measure this process. As a result, Ryan exited Tailor Made in 2020 to create TruDiagnostic.
TruDiagnostic is a CLIA certified lab and health data company which specializes in understanding and reporting insights found through Epigenetic methylation data. Since starting in 2020, TruDiagnostic has created the largest private epigenetic database in the world with over 15,000 patients tested on the EPIC850k array. From this dataset, they have created many new algorithms to interpret methylation data including algorithms to predict inflammatory markers, disease diagnosis, telomere length, aging pace, immune cell subsets, cellular replication, and more. TruDiagnostics has also led research in the field with over 30+ clinical trials investigating the best ways to reverse these markers through diet, lifestyle, and prescription interventions. Currently, TruDiagnostic is working with collaborators from Duke, Harvard, Yale, UCSF, Ohio St. and more to uncover new insights from the methylome. TruDiagnostic is also the only commercial company on the market to offer 2nd or 3rd generation aging algorithms which have shown to be more predictive and precise than 1st generation aging clocks.

Yes. So glad people are understanding the importance of looking under the hood...
2023: when a guy says I left medicine and we all cheer and proceed to listen carefully to what he has to say
Yes the current state of medicine has come to that… too many doctors who are working in traditional medicine are burned out and uninspired… they are stuck in the model and strangled by the insurance paradigm… The new way of doing medicine is growing rapidly right under nose because most are not looking outside the box…

Thank you for this detailed and informative video/podcast! I was just watching a video where the presenter and guest were 40 minutes in an still hadn’t started discussing peptides. Def saving this vid. Thank you again.

I have had tremendous success with peptide bioregulator stacks and just love them… now venturing out into injectables, exciting times. Thank you for all this great info
That’s fantastic!👍 Do you mind sharing what you noticed on bioregulators?
Curious as well. Just ordered a bunch of bioregulators. About to start most of them in next couple of weeks 🙏
Excellent questions and meaty, generous answers. Thank you for sharing your knowledge 🙏
Very much appreciate your comment!👍
Glad to see TMC is still around and kicking. Ryan is awesome and some of the stuff they were charged with was ridiculous. B12 being a prescription at all is ridiculous.
It is a new space that faces its own challenges for sure, not the least of it is the lack of support from the medical apparatus…

Dr. Kong, Thank you for bringing focus to Peptide therapy. You are an important voice in the emerging health space. Keep up the good work, and I really enjoyed your very knowledgeable guest, Ryan Smith. I have watched every secon of this video 3 times, and wrote notes. Let's of info for discussion with my Functional Medicine Doctor. I wish I still lived in Los Angeles, as I would live to be one of you patients.
If you have any ideas on therapies for tinnitus I would love to learn your thoughts and experience.
Thank you for such kind comment. It is very encouraging to see the high level of interest in peptide therapy these days, and I'm so glad I can bring superb experts onto the podcast:)
Thanks
Ryan mentioned his favorite peptide SS-31 more than once. I would love to hear why it’s his favorite peptide.

Found out about cerebrolysin and opened a whole new world.
Did you try it on yourself? What have you noticed?
I'm curious, too, what it's done for you.
What it did for you?
Dr. Kong, so well prepared questions and home work...great intro of Ryan.
Thank you so much for your kind comment! Much appreciated!
Thanks for the great video was just wondering if you would be able to give us the spelling of these different peptides was hard to figure out from listening to some of them... And any recommendations of where to go to be able to use these peptides?
Hi, thank you for your comment. The spelling will be as follows: BPC157, TB500, ipramorelin, CJC1295, MOTS-c, semaglutide (ozempic), selank, semax, cerebrolysin, Thompson alpha 1 (TA1), dihexa, tesamorelin, PT141, epitalon, kisspeptin, SS31, 5-amino-1-MQ, melanotan (I and II), GHK-Copper... You get peptides from a licensed physician (where the quality is more assured) or from a research lab... it is a messy space with a lot of uncertainties, both from product quality and regulatory perspective...
I appreciate your knowledge on peptides . I mixed TB500 and 157 together. I would get a Charlie horse in my right bicep and it healed me. I do take a little testosterone, winny , and anavar.
Thank you for your comment! Very happy to hear that you got a good results with these 2 peptides when it comes to your muscle cramps…

@francisproulx6420 maybe try the carnivore diet preferably the lion's diet for 3 months to see how you feel. It will help with your digestive system. And start off with stem cells or peptides. You don't need to start off with all at once. I'm planning to do stem cells with Dr. Kong's clinic ❤ when something is important to you, you will find a way, which I'm doing. Health is wealth. I changed to a carnivore diet and I'm saving alot of money at the grocery store. No snacks, no dessert, 2 meals a day with no hunger pains because we only eat when we are hungry. Sardines are a super food ❤ happy healing ❤❤
What a fantastic video! I'm currently suffering from an injury and have been a huge research nerd on peptides. I want to give BPC 175 and TB500 a try. It seems like these are fairly readily available. But, assuming all goes well, I REALLY want to try Tesamorelin and it seems much more difficult to find! Am I just missing it?! Unfortunately, the only wellness center near me only offers Sermorelin and so I have no idea how to proceed.
Anyhow, thanks so very much for the fantastic information and continued success to you and your podcast with this awesome content!
You are so very kind with your comment! It is very much appreciated! Yes, the peptides have not been easy to find, both for patients and providers, due to systematic restrictions on them… but you can find them from dedicated providers… you are welcome to do a consultation with our clinic regarding peptides as well. www.uplyftcenter.com. Best of luck on your health journey!
@joykongmd I wasn't sure if you did consultations with people who weren't local to your practice! I'm a long distance away but would welcome a discussion/concultation.
I use both BPC-157 and TB-500 but it took about 6 weeks of Sub Q injections every day to heal my shoulder. IQPeptides.us- has some great variations . I got it from this web site including Tesamorelin Right now i m using Ipamorelin an CJC -1295 but i think MK-677 is better .

Thank you so much! So glad to hear! Appreciate your support!
Important to know how to cycle use.
True
Ryan is amazing!!
True! Extremely impressive!👍
I just came across your channel. This video is great and would love to hear your thoughts on why the FDA banned BPC, CJC, and other peptides? What peptides would you recommended instead that aren’t banned?
Thank you, glad you found the video helpful. As far as why the FDA would ban numerous natural therapies that have shown benefits in a wide variety of conditions (some are approved by counterparts in other countries) and have little to no side effects, one may have to look deep into the history of medical care and pharmaceutical/insurance industry in this country. That would become a much longer conversation...
Thank you for this video . Super!!
You are so welcome!
It's important, to know, how to, cycle them out, as well
Thanks for your input. You are correct.

Ryan, where can I buy the best peptides?
... this is incredibly fascinating ... I fell down this rabbit hole while listening to your interviews with the Claudia Glows UA-cam channel . I have to believe that you are aware of the wonderful work by David Schmidt of Lifewave ... which uses a form of light spectrum therapy to utilize the body’s own energy to heal itself with the different patches in their product line ? ... I’d love to hear your comments ! ... my thoughts are that the combination of stem cell therapy, peptide therapy and the light spectrum therapy, that it would be a great synergistic approach to self healing and regeneration ...
Thank you so much for your comment. Yes, best results would be accomplished by a comprehensive approach, because our body is that complex… Light therapy is fantastic, and energy medicine is a new frontier in medicine:)
Brilliant video, thanks
Thank you so much!👍
@Joy Kong MD I've just had l4 l5 fusion. And got 2 vials of bpc, tb500 and hgh hoping start tomorrow when get home to accelerate healing g process 🙏
Bioregulation doesnt even sounds like a compex matter. Just putting a hormone or enzyme compound in your body that signals to prudcue other hormones and enzymes in your body.
Except these are very powerful signaling molecules that can work on the DNA level, and have the potential to rejuvenate the target organs:)
Do you have any opinions on high levels of hgh being correlated with shorter lifespan? Or more specifically, low hgh being correlated with longer life span?
Dr kong, I am contemplating to get a stem cell infusion at your clinic

Time stamps would be great in the future.
You are right. Will do so in the future for sure. Thanks for your feedback.
Where is a safe or best place to purchase BPC 157 & TB 500 ? What is the best dosing?
You can speak to an integrative or functional medicine physician, and they may be able to obtain it from a supplier.
Where does everyone get their peptides? It’s. Not sustainable to pay $400 per peptide per month. I got myself on two peptides and my husband as well. That’s $1600 each month.
Can anyone recommend a source not through a doctor. Don’t want to be paying an intermediary.
Are so many out there now. Solution Peptides is which I use for BPC-157, kpv, semax etc
Is Tesamorelin stable after reconstitution? Or should each dose be reconstituted individually?
You have to reconstitute individually and use immediately
You reconstitute each vial as needed. The theory is that each compound is delicate and should stay in powder form until needed. This fact is being debunked by testers as we speak by Labs testing these theories and running hplc testing.
What is a good dosage for 5-amino 1q? Thanks.
Can you recommend a trusted lab that sells BPC 157 in a pill form?
I can look it up, but I don’t know one off hand…
@Joy Kong MD I would really appreciate it.
@@JoyKongMD Would love to know also!
Would you also take Ipamoralin with the Tesamoralin?
I don’t see that as necessary. I would take either tesamorelin or the ipramorelin/CJC1295 combo.
Ok. Thank you. There are people on you tube recommending just replacing cjc1295 with tesamorelin and still taking Ipamorelin. I am planning to make an order for some as well as BPC157 and TB500. I am 51. Have damaged L5-S1.
@@69munderwoodwow, thanks mate for doing the study and sharing! My L5/S1 is damaged also. I'm just entering this pep world and on a learning curve.
Thank you!
Im 64 with hEDS. The rejuvenative injections i was having from 2018- beginning of this yr aren’t as effective so I started BCP and TB500 separately a few weeks ago. I started pinning 200mcg BPC at 3 sites of chosen injury sites bid for 5 days then started feeling tightness in large areas around the sites. Would that be because it’s really tightening the ligaments or tendons thus the surrounding fascia? I cut back down to 200mcg bid sq into one site. The areas where I have nerve impingement pain from lower spine issues hasn’t lessened at all.
I am sorry you have not noticed relief from these injections. Maybe work with an integrative doctor who is familiar with peptides and musculoskeletal issues to help you...
@@JoyKongMD as much as I would like to because I’m in Canada and they are not approved no medical professional of any kind wants to get involved.
Being a former nurse, I’m usually managing my own care or overseeing it without having a primary because there’s a shortage of doctors here
My body is quite in tune with changes out of normal, and they might not be necessary pain but abnormal sensations… fasciculations, tightness whatever. I think I was injecting too high dose as yesterday I only injected once with 200 µg of BPC and I’m feeling tightness from my top all the way up my side. It’s probably therapeutic!
At least I’m keeping my fingers crossed it is. I’m relying on doing my own sleuthing and reading from reliable sources.
Great video Dr. Kong Do you know if 5 Amino- 1MQ can be taken at night or during the day?
It’s generally recommended to be taken in the morning to avoid interference with sleep…
Hi Doc. Great video. On the topic of peptides, most of the search online reveals they’re injected, have you heard of desert hills health and leisure GH-Release CJC-1295 and GHRP-2 (Ipamorelin) Peptide Capsules Lean Growth Supplements? First that I’ve seen of CJC-1295 being in capsule form. Is this company legit?
I have not heard of them. I am sorry I can’t give you a better answer.
they need to be injected or a cream
@JoyKongMD When taking the Gh secretoguges, I know the video stating to take 2 days off of not using it. Does it have to be 2 days off continually or can we take off on Tue and Sat. Or do we have to take off Sat and Sun
I’m not sure if I misheard him but I thought he said that TB 500 is better for soft tissue and muscle mass but then he said BPC is better for tendons and ligaments so I’m confused
The bottom line: they are both fantastic for musculoskeletal repair.
If MOT-C is degraded by 90% in 4 hours, does that mean you need to use the whole vial per injection otherwise the peptide is pretty much worthless?
That would appear to be the case.
I want to try TB500 and/or BPC157 for tendon/muscle/bone repair but I am on Warfarin for a mechanical aortic heart valve. Should I be concerned about blood clothing? I can monitor my INR so can adjust if there is an effect directly on INR but not sure if there could be other factors at play. Would appreciate to hear your thoughts on this.
I am hesitant to provide medical advice on an internet platform. I would advise you to consult with your primary care physician. That said, as far as I know, there is no reports of impact on clotting from BPC 157 or TB 500
Can you safely stack a growth hormone secretagogue with bpc157 without adverse reaction? If someone can point me in the direction of where I could get this question answered I would greatly appreciate it.
I do not see any issue with that. The beauty with natural therapies is that all these peptide molecules already coexist in the human body. As long as you're using therapeutic doses, there's rarely any adverse interactions.
I have severe arthritis and chronic inflammation of my back , but I take a Lexapro ,and a Benzo for anxiety would Bp-157 cause more anxiety ? Would would you suggest for someone with my depression issues ?
I have not heard of BPC 157 causing more anxiety. You can certainly try Selank which may help with anxiety and depression, so can certain supplements such as lithium threonate… you should also go through a holistic evaluation to see if there’s any nutrient deficiency or hormonal imbalances etc…
Which one are you talking about for stroke victims??
Peptides that may be helpful for brain repair include Cerebrolysin, Semax, Selank, BPC 157, TB 500…
would appreciate if there were timetable of subjects in the video.
Sorry that was not provided…
Im wondering if BPC 157 could actually treat eye problems like Ectropion
There is some research on BPC 157 helping with corneal repair, but I think exactly how it works for eyes will require further investigation…
Ay Caramba! A 2mg vial of Tesanorelin is $7,000! How can we make this stuff more affordable and accessible?
I am not sure where you received it, that’s exorbitant pricing… it should not be that costly
Definitely not an accurate price
Please help me to find a doctor I can use ssri
Not sure what you mean by using SSRI?
@@JoyKongMD I meant I can't sorry for typing
Are there certain peptides you recommend to be on while doing stem cell therapy??
Some peptides can be great for many organs, such as BPC157 and TB500. Others target specific organs the person may have problems in...'. In general however, there is not a peptide specifically for stem cell treatments as far as I know of.

How do the people who are low income and sick have access to these treatments?
There’s not enough healthcare parity when it comes to the new holistic cutting edge medicine for the low income population. That will change eventually. Unfortunately, the way the current healthcare system is set up, insurance is not covering these highly effective therapies for the most part, even though these treatments are much less costly than the traditional pharmacological and surgical approaches… We are in the midst of a medical revolution, even though the vast majority of doctors don’t even know we are in this transition… The old die hard, and sadly there are going to be a lot of casualties. Many people with low income recognize the value of these new therapies and devote their limited resources to it… fortunately, there’s so much you can do even on your own by just lifestyle changes… overall, these treatments save tremendous amount of money for people over the long run, not to mention, giving them a much better quality of life…

Many times it's very tough. It shouldn't be that way especially if a lot of doctors truly went into Healthcare to help people.
