We love the lavish bread we get from our food bank. We use it for rollups. Nice haul and video. Alot of nice fresh produce and fruit .with the cauliflower. Could. Make cauliflower rice. When we receive. Food. From food banks. Whatever we know we won't eat. Or use we pass it on to someone who will.eat it or use it . Our way of helping. Others.in this hard dark times .
We donate to 3 food banks. Anything you can't use, feel free to give away. My son raised over $1000 for the local food bank by running a marathon. Ignore negative comments. Tina, Al's wife
That's awesome! Thank you for the kind words. Anything I don't use or was given too much of, I share with my parents and I give stuff to members of my mom's church. Several members are elderly.
For some of the mean comments...you can't always pick what you get from a pantry or food bank. They give out what they get donated. Sometimes it does include a lot of sweets and junkfood. Not her fault if you don't like the "crap food".
You can make the bell peppers refreshed by cutting them half You can refresh the peppers by cutting them in half and soaking in ice water for about half hour.
If I won big on the uk lottery I would love to open a charity store which supplied furniture, bedding, clothing, household supplies and food or what ever else is needed. Completely free of charge it would also need donations from other businesses and the government if possible to continue helping others I believe in paying it forward we all need help of some sort in our lives even if it’s just a listening ear stay safe all ❤
With the pork, cut out the grease and warm up with your favorite bar b que sauce, make sandwiches. You can also use sloppy Joe's mix. You can get pie crust, make a roux and add onions bellpeppers, your fav. Seasoning on stome top, and mix meat in, then make a meat pie, you can add mixed veggies if you like or just plain meat.
I don't know if you know it but those little guacamole you can just throw them in the freezer as they are and they come out just fine just stir real good when they come out. And they'll keep for months in the freezer. In case sometimes they give you several of them that you won't be able to use up in time it's a great way to save them and not waste
We have one that's every third Saturday and I haven't went in the while with groceries going up we went this weekend and are fresh vegetables and fruit was really bad shape I didn't even get a make a video of mine because I had to go through it cut it up get the bad spots out version of what tickled me the most we got a Tommy Hawk steak
@Joann McConnel I use nail polish I bought from Dollar Tree. I have several colors I bought a few years ago while everything was still $1. I also have some nail polish from Ipsy that I've owned for awhile. I buy my hair color from Walmart and color my hair every 3 or 4 months or whenever I have a little extra money. It's not a priority when I'm trying to feed my family.
Unfortunately all food banks aren't equal in what is donated. Depending on where you live some people receive items such as milk (soy or almond milk or cows milk), or different amounts of produce or even special diet items. My family received so many healthier items such as the fresh sweet potatoes, potatoes, bell peppers, bag of oranges, limes, blueberries, cauliflower and celery. Plus the crab meat that my youngest son can eat. Plus the whole grain waffles, multi grain flatbread and Greek yogurt. The food bank gives whatever is donated. From my understanding, as least my local food bank claims they spend $300 of donated money to buy 8,000 pounds of food. Food banks do give out can goods, frank weiners, cereals, breads and sweets. If that is what you meant by "crap food". I'm very grateful for anything I receive. I feel like they try and balance what they give you depending on their donations.
Wow love everything!
Nice very nice .
You sure got alot food from your food bank. Nice assortment. I'm glad that you get all that and can utilize it all.

I'm glad to see that you got some treats in there along with the good for you stuff
I saw the comments on the junk food, when you are on a tight budget, you don't have "junk food." That is a treat.
Celery can be chopped up and frozen to use later in soups and casseroles
That's what I do.

Have you ever sprouted lentils. It's quite easy. Makes a nice crunchy salad. Or tastes great in a wrap, soup etc.
You can dehydrate that celery in a low heated oven , then use later in soups...or when dry grind up into celery powder for seasoning
OR freeze it.
Nice haul

Nice nails
Thank you!
When I cut out all my frills, I had to give up coloring my hair and doing my nails. My budget just would not allow it.
@@joannmcconnel7956 she probably polished them herself and if not then her choice.
