This was at my yard sale I’m the one that sold him these awesome items there’s no hard feelings towards ben at all it’s all part of business he’s got to make his money and I understand that I did my research on almost all the items that were in the tote and had a rough idea of what it was all worth yes he got an amazing deal on it all but the end of the day I was ready to let it all go thanks for doing business looking forward to the next time.
Thanks man. I tried to breakdown my number reasoning in some other comments. It just made sense at the time. And like I said at the end of the video once I got home and really looked at the condition and took time to comp stuff out while I filmed this, I realized it was a really good deal and I’ll be sure to pay it forward next time we do business. I appreciate the deal! 😄
Good deal for sure. I thought a lot of the stuff had more wear then it did when I was first looking at it. Once I pulled it all out it and went through it thoroughly I realized it was in in way better condition then I thought.
Yeah he gave me a deal 💯. Ill be for sure seeing him again at another one of his sales or at the flea market. I’ll be sure to pay him back for the haul. 😎

This is my first time watching. Great deal! I like your response regarding paying up another time. It shows you’re a good guy. I definitely have to check out your other videos!
I posted this on another comment but here’s a breakdown of my thought process at the sale. I have to assume lower end of my estimated prices on stuff because I bought most of it without checking the condition. Green jackets (x2) 50ea, Jordan jersey 50, Mickey jacket 40, nascar jacket 40, nascar shirt (only saw one) 20, band shirts (3) 20ea, hats 30, the other stuff I saw maybe 60. So roughly $400 total. 400 - 60 (15% fees) = 340 340 - 60 (estimate shipping) = 280 280 - 80 ( estimate cog) = $200 That’s $200 to pay myself for my time sourcing, researching each item, taking photos, key wording, listing, storing, and shipping. That’s a reasonable amount expect. So while yes once I got home and was able to properly see the exact condition of everything and comp stuff out it ended up being more worth it. At the time the math said that $200 estimated profit was good enough for a $80 offer. Also, at the end I acknowledged that after seeing and throughly going through everything it was a really good deal and even said I’ll need to pay up next time. You gotta remember I’m buying to resell and I have to be able to know I’ll make money. If I was buying personal $100 would have been great. But when I’m buying to resell the math need to make sense after taking everything into account at bottom dollar.
@@ReadySetResell Thanks for sharing your thought process, Ben. I meant that you made a great offer, not that you should have offered more. My guesstimate was too high - that is what you taught me. :)

The way you talk about clothing makes it seem like an easy market. Your viewers should also know that vintage items like this require lots of measurements and detailed listings for stains or any holes. And to be prepared to accept returns on things when they receive an item and it's not the exact color they expected. Not crapping on you Ben, but vintage clothing isn't for everyone and with you being a UA-camr a lot of ppl watch I think that kinda stuff is also good info to share. Vintage Clothing isn't as easy as most UA-camrs make it look.
I get it, buy low & sell high. The problem with this deal was that: A. He is a viewer B. He brought that inventory out strictly for you & you alone C. You should have just paid the $100. You could have been set for so many future deals seeing as he buys storage units. But if I were that guy I'd be looking at this transaction as a 1 & done, especially after he watches the video.
