Yeah she was. I'm pretty sure she just wanted stuff gone and was happy to help me find everything haha. Pretty sure she just underwent a house decluttering lol
Nice work Ben! I would have walked away from the first guy looking up stuff on Ebay! People having yard sales who do that are a pet peeve of mine. Nope!
So , just to make it clear here, people are allowed to do that because it’s their garage sales and that’s how their trying to price the value of their items??? It’s how us resellers look up items To find their value, so why can’t the owner garage sale do the same? If you don’t like their garage sale, just walk away and on to the next one
@@danfennewald9827 Neither of us said they aren’t allowed? Also, he literally said he would walk away....which is what you suggested doing... Not sure what the issue you saw in this? But, yes it’s something something I am turned off by when I see it. Because it doesn’t make sense to ask ebay prices without considering things like fees and shipping. On top of that the majority of people use the current listings instead of solds to price their items. If people wanted to pay eBay prices they would well...order it on eBay. I don’t say anything to them I just leave. Not sure why you saw a problem with anything that was said in the above posts.
@@ReadySetResell turned off because you couldn’t make any money off them because they’re asking for the price it goes for. That’s their right to make as much as they want on it, and if you get “turned off” by not being able to make money off someone’s garage sale and complain about it which you both did , well that’s one of my “turn offs” sir.
@Dan Fennewald LOL I think you need to re read this conversation. Neither of us said anything about them not being allowed to or having the right to sell at those prices. They are more then welcome to. Just because it’s a turn off doesn’t mean I’m complaining. If you watched the video I stayed and listened to the prices and bought something. If you think having an opinion is a turn off then that’s on you. If anyone here is complaining it’s you....
It’s hard not to be jealous of everyone having good yard sale finds as yard sale season is pretty much over in Arizona… no one is sitting out in 115+ degree weather…. I won’t complain too much; They will start back up in September here. Wishing you continued success this summer!
I definitely would have walked away from the first one ... I have a bad habit of talking to myself outloud 🙄... That second yard sale was definitely my type ... That's why I don't really go to yard sales I stick to my local thrift store where the prices are set.
It appears the 4k Blu ray is exclusive to Wizarding World but I don't see any info on it either. Just going by the Wizarding World logo on the front. It might have exclusive bonus features or maybe just the alternate cover art. My guess would be just the cover art is different.
I have seen videos before where people will print up items from ebay that they are selling but this weekend was the first time I went to one personally. The items they printed were similar not exactly the same and of course listed not sold. So all of that stuff was way over priced. Bummer, because if the prices were better I might have bought more. But we look what we could find. Great find on the new games.
Thats crazy and one of my biggest pet peeves for sales. Like if you want ebay prices then...sell it on ebay. People don't ever think about fees, shipping, etc when they do that.
Went to our first yard sale of the season last weekend. Didn't pick up anything really crazy great but did get a few things. For example we picked up some new tools for $2 that will sell for $35-$40 each. So I was happy about those. That was a great find on the Snoopy build a bear - I love that! I have a couple of totes full of plush that I need to get listed. I am having a hard time getting good pictures of some of the larger ones. Need to figure it out... great tips thanks.
Enjoy your videos, I'm always learning something new. I do have a question for you. When you opened your 2nd store in NC did you have to start reestablishing yourself again, only 10 sales per month? I need to open a 2nd store to sell probate items from my Aunts estate but I don't want any restrictions since I have a couple thousand items to sell.
I built up the store before I got down there to get some feedback and establishment. But, when I opened it originally I just called ebay and explained it was a second store and asked to increase my selling limits based on my other store. They did it no problem at all.
If I happen on a sale where they are using eBay print outs for their pricing, I'm outta there! If I was a collector and there is a widget I'm looking for, I'm going to sit in the convenience of my mansion to find it online and buy it from someone who spends hours researching and hunting. I'm not going out to shop for weeks or months with the common folk in hopes that I find it! They are paying for the work re-sellers do.
It makes sense to diversify your selling platforms. I sell on eBay, Amazon, Facebook , Etsy, Mercari, and Poshmark. Some items sell for more money on Amazon. So that’s where I sell it. Amazon is a big part of my business and has been for a long time. Diversifying can get you more money, it gets your items in front of more people and can make items sell a lot faster.
Reselling Rule #1275. If you are going to charge high optimistic ebay retail prices at a yard sale.....just sell them on ebay!
That lady was very.........helpful. I find it hard to shop and chat at the same time. But she sure didn't mislead you. Great finds.

Do an auction ....a couple thousand items on eBay will take you years lol

Just getting in to the plush game. Only picking up $0.50-$1.
Hope you find some good ones! They can be very very good. Unfortunately most aren’t worth it.
Once he pulled up Ebay, I woulda walked away. Tell him if he wants Ebay prices, list them.
Plush is one of my top favorite things to find only prob is I end up keeping it all T_T
It is so annoying when they say they can sell it on eBay for this much or when they get their prices on eBay!😠
Love you

Its underrated 💯

Those wooden case boardgames like that monopoly sell really well and within a few days If I find those for under $10 it's a great flip
I’ve seen and sold the wooden bookshelf edition ones. I’ve just never seen the Indiana Jones one. Glad I looked it up haha
@@ReadySetResell hi Ben, I've never seen the Indiana Jones one either! I recently bought a Lilly Pulitzer Monopoly at an estate sale for only $1.50
You missed so many good items at that second yard sale!
Let me know what they were! I need to learn too haha 😆
