Lucas Broussard performs to "Thème de l’absence" at An Evening with Champions 2024

Lucas, originally from Luxembourg and now based in Seattle, began figure skating at nine in Sun Valley, Idaho, after transitioning from competitive ski racing. He won the Juvenile National title in 2019 and the Junior Nationals in 2023. Internationally, Lucas's achievements include victories at the Junior Grand Prix events in Gdansk and Egna in 2022, and a silver medal at the Junior Grand Prix Final in Torino the same year. Most recently, he won the 2024 Cranberry Cup International in Boston. As a high school senior, Lucas balances his passion for skating with his love for chemistry and math and is exploring a potential career in engineering. Outside of school and the rink, he enjoys cooking, music, and horror movies.

'An Evening with Champions' is a public non-profit charity show, fighting child cancer by raising money for The Jimmy Fund, the fundraising arm of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Founded at Harvard in 1970, 'An Evening with Champions' presents an annual world-class figure skating exhibition, and has featured national and Olympic talents such as Nathan Chen, Michelle Kwan, Yuna Kim and Evan Lysacek.
