This part of the Directorial Override mission picks up as soon as you’ve finished talking with Ahti. You essentially need to head on over to the NSC Coolant Pumps and fire a few battery packs into them. However, there’s a tonne of Hiss enemies that try to slow you down and then when you get to the last pump it turns out there’s a blockage. When you go to investigate there’s a many-eyed killer slime monster chogging up the system, but as soon as you get rid of it and throw in the last battery pack you’re done.

I wish they added markers that show you where to go in case you can't find any of these rooms. I walked aimlessly for 1 hour trying to find these rooms. The in game map really sucks
This is the most frustrating mechanic of the game. Idk how fucking hard it is to just add a navigation icon with distance attached to it. Save the users hours of frustration. It's fucking broken. Worst map of any recent game
@@FrenchSaladMac I just deleted it since I downloaded on playstation now. Such a shame such a good game is missing something so basic. I've spent more time running around than enjoying the game
Chris Rod its a damn shame. This game story and game play wise is brilliant and a great change for a genre such as the paraphysical. The storyline is brilliant and reminds me of a mix between the matrix and the original assassin's creed. But why the hell is it so hard to navigate through the levels. I am currently playing it now and the only thing that helps when I get stuck is UA-cam videos searching the specific objective. Besides that the combat and special effects sound effects when enemies explode are top notch. I'd give it a second try there aren't games like this in the market that peak my interest recently anymore
EXACTLY I hate having the map open half of the time
I looked it up and they purposely kept waypoint markers out of the game because they, "trust the players."
We are supposed to "follow the signs" but even if you get to the right area it's still frustrating when there is no clues about what you're supposed to do once you find the areas.

I killed soooo many of the exploding hiss on that area, but kept retreating so I guess it didn't count and the door never opened. Can't believe that made it through testing. Had to look online to figure out where the hell to go since the coolant pump door was blocked off. I must have killed like 50 of those exploding hiss over all. I guess you have to stand in that area, if you retreat up the ramp, the door doesn't open no matter how many you kill.

Exactly. He would’ve made more money if it was just 10 minutes purely about the pumps as people wouldn’t skip find what they want and leave like I did and instead what all the way through ads and all

Ok, so I've cleared the whole game. But for some reason pump 3 is clogged again. Is this a glitch?!?! Generator will not reconnect.

I thimk mine is glitched, I put all the boxes already and still nothing's happened.
I tried throwing the box at the thing above the gate first and not a goddamn thing happened. I spent 20 minutes trying to figure out what to do only to find out I apparently didn't throw it like I meant it or something

I defeated the monster in pipeworks first before attaching the electric boxes. That huge monster creature never showed up for me from the elevator. I went aroud multiple times and nothing. Glitch maybe? Doing this in the correct order may be essential?

Joshua Raikes for me I realized I had to attach 3 of the cube things to the power sources. Watch a walk through if you need help

there, 12:21 i was so baffled, walking around everywhere for an hour not knowing i had to throw the battery back into that wall plug. While there's a speedrun on youtube of someone completing this game in 57 minutes?

I love how the navigation system f--ks me, even though its hard but I enjoyed every second getting lost like I have found so many secret rooms and mods that I would've never found before. I explored every single room before navigating to the next rooms which makes me memorize where I'm going and with fast travels its pretty easy. People who left the game are missing out on a lot of cool shit

I honestly got to say the game is in bed but the map sucks and it’s too hard to find places even places that you’ve been before you can never find them again because everything looks the same exactly the same like I’m trying to get back to the janitors room so I can find the pumps because I had to stop before I could finish and I can’t find the janitors room nowhere I keep walking around in a circle this game is so stupid when it comes to directions & the map

This game sets up objectives poorly, map useless, and shit is overall confusing. How is this even possible. Who the f**k even knew how to do what you showed us without a hint....fuck I hate this game. I'm shocked the was such a strong GOTY contender. The story is absolutely awful
