Hi, Mikey. The cube is mainly a solid form of PAA CK 6. If you use it like a shave stick and work it up with a brush, it will lather up and work just as well as the shave stick you switched too. Works excellently. Yes straight razor easier than DE shavettes especially because of the exposed ends of blades need situation awareness of where end of blade is since it's a short blade. Never had a problem with those feather artist club blade style like your using here. The guarded blade helps protect you versus the unguarded.
@@danielarchibald3247 thank you so much, Daniel. You sure did teach me a lot that I didn’t know about. Yes that Shave shaved pretty good yesterday. Thank you so much for letting me know and thanks for watching my friend. I would rather it with a brush next time I did not know it was that just plain OCK6 that goes in his other soapsOK thank you
Fun experiment Mikey, especially with a shavette!.....mine's been sat in the den unused for a good while now, after some failures and a war zone of nicks and cuts, do get the odd temptation to try it again, but that soon goes away 😂 Good to see the ER 1912, have 2 in the den, one in a Bakelite case and one in a Chrome case, both like the day they were made, may break one out today for shave, as been a while since I last used one, been hooked on using a The Goodfellas Smile Syntesi DE the past few months, faultless razor IMHO. Have a good weekend 🤘🕉✌️
@@fuzz7263 thank you fuzz. Good shave Mike. You might have started a new series, the end of the world shave lol. I already have some idea's. I think I found a safety razor that takes the "safety" seriously lol. You would have to try real hard to cut yourself with this thing.
@@michaelmclelland8440 The shavette is on my list and I will get there eventually. I'm uploading my video now but it takes next to forever. Still about an hour to go.

That's what I call an interesting shave.. tnx Mikey.. Many of us shave with an outside the box (no soap no cream) stuff (ex. Preshaves, oils, water in the shower, etc..).. so.. if this is the case the cube makes more sense.. Btw.. why don't you try this shavette with an injector blade?
