That's your best job yet. It looks so much better in timber . Tin sheets make it look to commercial, plus the grey makes it look dull and boring. Great Job James well done
Nice Job Rich & James over the last few years we have clad /Re done the cladding on a few of are buildings I like wood cladding possibly less waste than box profile on the cuts & more astatically pleasing 😀 have a good weekend Thanks again
Hi Jame + Rich, Oh yes I can smell the Douglas fir from here, I think it looks great I know it's a shed but the wood gives it character, good job. As always a great video Take care
Douglas fir and the barge board was the way forward, lot better looking, something a lot better for the chaps/ladies to turn up to work to, better than a tin shack lol
Looks a tidy job! I did my garage in that style using tanalised timber as it was a lot cheaper than Douglas fir. I think it’s called castle boarding, but I’m not too sure on that
I would say steel with Tex screws is easier to get in to. Only took Rich 10 mins to remove the sheets, it would take longer to get all the nails out 😂 everything alarmed with PIR sensors and door sensors, just need the laser beams now haha
I did think about it, but with doing it in stages, it would have been a pain as well as all the internal timbers not being uniform. So voted against it. We will be insulating and boarding the inside.
Love the timber are you going to insulate and board the workshop side ? Just in case the boards do move or shrink nothing worse than a cold workshop lol and a even a colder grumpy MIKE 😂
Definately the right choice James , looks really smart .
Thank you Richard 👍🏼
lovely job .. well done and crack on

Thanks Darran, yeah a lot less waste 👍🏼
Looks really smart James 👍👍
Thank you Nev 👍🏼
Hi, if you want cheap insulation panels for your industrial buildings. Buy old cold room panels ...then timber clad the outside 🤔
Great idea 👍🏼
i like it
Good job done by you all and looking good
Thank you Ian 👍🏼
A very good Friday evening to you all from Wellington Somerset
Good morning from Devon 👍🏼

sheds looking bob on lol looks a nice neat job when its all done and finshed
Looking forward to it being done 👍🏼
As long as it keeps the weather and the pigeons out, it’s a result…it does look good…a nice change,as a posed to a usual barn front.
Defo thanks Daz 👍🏼

Castle boarding sound right, thank you.
Eco seal from wickes...or a,good weather seal....sprayed on your timber. Will make it last but also keeps it looking smart....
Good shout 👍🏼
Just a word to the wise with cladding with timber have you upgraded your alarm as its so easy to remove wood as apposed to steel work love the content

James just a question.
No waterproof membrane on under the timber for a reason? Not needed? Fire hazard? ?
Looks great in timber vs the metal.
I did think about it, but with doing it in stages, it would have been a pain as well as all the internal timbers not being uniform. So voted against it. We will be insulating and boarding the inside.
@finditfixitfarmit thank you 👍

Yeah exactly that, I was y guy ping membrane under the wood. but would have been to much hassle with doing it in stages.
The only thing wrong with this video is that we didn’t get to see it completed, could have made that an hour long special 😂. Good work.
Yeah I did think that but I don’t think the retention would have been great haha
Timber looks much better
Thanks Stephen 👍🏼
7:37 looks like that nail missed the bar behind it 😅
Haha, yeah it does look like it but there was an vertical timber behind 😅
I would have got a few full lengths of tin not a fan of wood in buildings . would have sheeted it in 1/2 the time
Fair enough mate 👍🏼
Looks far smarter only downside we didn't hear magic Mike have a moan? Will look forward to seeing otherside done
You can be sure he did under his breath haha
@finditfixitfarmit no doubt he did!
