Never knew how they pulled these tops, how simple! Thanks! Just picked up a rare seltzer bottle from Goodwill, 19-20th century Angels Camp Soda Works, Angels Camp Cal. Perfect condition for the low price of $8.00! Thanks!😊
Thank you for taking the time to post this. I just received an old seltzer bottle and was scared to death to take it apart with using force. It was so easy after seeing ur video.
No, I wish they’re very hard to find always check the little junk boxes at the flea market. You’ll probably find a part or two they shouldn’t be too rusty. I believe that there’s some kind of a aluminum.

Thanks for sharing, who would have thought it would require the knowledge of a 33rd degree Mason to remove the lids off these!

Do you have any spare parts for these? Mine is missing the very top cap above the thumb lever.

Thanks - I'll need some brute force, but at least I know what should happen!
Had to clean some of these bottles for my job, but I could not get the top off because it was so rusted shut 😢 Any tips?
Soak it in WD-40 and or gun oil
I just found a case of 8 of these bottles while cleaning out a garage. Thank goodness I found your video.😊😊
