When I lived and worked in Texas, I would freeze water in a large water bottle, take it to work and have cold cold water throughout the afternoon.

Packing lunches definitely saves money! I rarely eat lunch!! I normally just eat one meal a day and it's dinner with my hubby!!! But, I do make my hubby's lunches for him to take to work most of the time!!!! Tfs 😊❤️ 6:21

One meal a day? You are very disciplined. I could say that I eat one meal a day, it's just spread out over the entire day. LOL! I'm a snacker and a grazer, for sure.

good early morning! you are a very smart woman. you plan well. cooler, thermos, home prepared foods. for me, celiac really rules and it is hard to get any fast foods that work for me. i will take a safe snack if i have a lot of errands etc but generally every thing is done at home. i know i can get a lettuce wrap burger if absolutely necessary. however, steamed lettuce isn't exciting. i am sure you are feeling better because you are eating better. healthy snacks help keep ones body in balance. plus saving money these days is so helpful. hope you have a good saturday with mild temps. in the 80's here for a few days. ahhh almost bliss, eh?

Oh my gosh, what a difference of a few degrees less makes. about 78 right now at 11:30 am which is wonderful. The celiac definitely complicates eating out, even if you want to eat out!

❤❤ That was a great video I can't say I'm as good as you on that first stuff when I go somewhere uptown. It's easy to meet somebody for lunch.Or to have a donut at my favorite donut shops.Or or I have my food at home.. If I was going long distances that are being gone a long time. That's a great idea Like I think it was you saying about eating out being A social thing.I like that idea a a lot All the things you are taking for your lunches would suit me wonderfully. Thank you so much for sharing my 🧡 friend 🧡

I'm with you = I love meeting with friends, either for coffee or lunch. That is my reason to go out to eat. Usually when I leave the house I do so to do chores, so it's nice to have a bite in the car from time to time during the day

we don't eat fast food either...for that exact reason...we get sick for several days after...we have one small sit down restaurant that we will go to on special occasions, but its home cooked foods not fast processed foods...love your videos. 😊

Thank you so much. I do like to eat out, but nowadays it's really rare and am avoiding fast food. The home cooked restaurant idea is good. I have one or two that I like to go to, also

Me too - right now I'm taking a big thermos with ice water in it when I leave the house and that really saves me purchasing drinks on the road. That alone has been a big savings In the winter, hot tea in a thermos and no more stopping at Starbucks

@@MyMountainHomeandKitchenI started making my own coffee and tea, like matcha and chai tea. It's so much cheaper and healthier than Starbucks...no added syrup. Just milk and tea 😊

@@amygrant8812 I really think that's the way to go, it's just getting so expensive. I get my black tea in bulk from Amazon and use it in a tea infuser. I have a bunch of herbal tea bags and once I go through that, i'll be mixing my own blends.
