Duncan is a national treasure. This man is a real life mentor. He can relate to almost anyone, he’s incredibly genuine.
Duncan is full of shit. He's the "did you know guy" we all thought died in 1978. He's insuffrable. I am sure he has some entertainment value. But he makes Bro Jogan look like a sober genius. Duncan has never said anything of true value and certainly never added anything of value to society.
I think possibly its because he is high as fuck most of the time. He is however a highly functional dopehead.

When Theo said he’s having a long day and Duncan genuinely seemed interested and concerned asking him what’s going on was so heartwarming. Duncan is such a pure full of love person its refreshing.
One of the beautiful aspects of this duo is that Duncan can match Theo's ability to be both goofy and outlandish as well as sensitive and empathetic. This is awesome

Duncan is like that co worker that instantly makes your day better with their perspective and outlook on things. You know the ones with just contagious charisma, we gotta protect these people. They are getting more rare
seriously! he'll be going on about some hypothetical, theo will throw in some random aspect, Duncan 100% goes with it and works with it. it's like he uses the "yes, and" improv rule, but for every conversation he has with someone. although it results in them talking about placenta for way too long lmfao, it's a beautiful thing and really makes people feel heard/involved.

I love how Theo can mix up "zygote" and "geode" and less than two minutes later come up with beautiful metaphors that just hit the nail on the head. He's so genuine, it's refreshing. And Duncan, man he is chock full of wisdom and provides a new and different perspective on so many things that are talked about but not in the way he's able to describe. These two are like a breath of fresh air.
I love Duncan and I love theos openness about his struggles in life. This episode was therapeutic to watch

Theo is one of the most present people speaking with Duncan. I feel like a lot of other comics can't handle the sheer focus and openness it takes to be present with such a pleasant person. This was therapy.

Some wounds take a long time to heal. Hopefully, one day Theo will see how far he has come (and what he's accomplished) DESPITE the daily demons that drum in his mind, daily. The more we learn to look after ourselves and walk forward towards our fears courageously, those (commanding) voices do slowly fade...one after another.

This is my favorite episode I've seen so far. I love seeing these 2 together!!
In our early 20's, my now husband and I planned to go to a formal event as friends. Each day leading up to it, we set a time to get together to go buy something for said event - dress, tux, shoes, etc. and then we would grab dinner after. The night of the event, we realized that after looking into each other eyes and finally embracing each other during that first dance, that we had been going on "marriage" dates the entire time. The love and connection at that moment was instant. We couldn't get out of there fast enough *wink* You kind of just know when you have found your person. 20 years later still together.
This is going to be the greatest podcast of all time and I'm going to watch Midnight gospel again after this, I guarantee it.

I just finished rewatching it, and that made me want to see this podcast episode animated, or to see another episode of The Midnight Gospel with Clancy interviewing Theo.
Maybe Theo could have an episode on MG where he talks to his Dad. It starts in Hawaii where he’s just trying to get a smoothie and then takes DMT and gets a visit. ❤

Its so intense but hillarious at the same time, because the Faces morphing intensifies also in these long and still camera shots :D
And the colours go crazy also because of the grainy quality.
