If you ever get a chance, could you post a quick video showing a closeup of the seat and how it changes from tractor to backhoe seat? I've got parts for one and am trying to figure out how to put it together...great video, thanks!
It's not horrible. It takes some getting used to though. They are known for breaking apart. Ours has a lot of welding done to it. Everyone else has fixed the problems before we got it. It beats a shovel any day though lol.
The backhoe itself maybe $500 to $1000. It can dig 10 feet straight down if I remember correctly. It's a cool old machine and a great conversation piece.
Coulda just swung the bucket in once you had the slab on the edge, what you're doing right there is putting load on the tractor (risk breaking it in half).

2:00 That rig's actually a Dual backhoe setup. Sherman on the back, Amish backhoe (sticking up) in the front. The block weighs about 2230 lbs
