It is important to aim for number one, but more important than that is the journey we take to get there, how we can shine and enjoy in our own unique way, and how much fun we can have with our fans. "i" can also mean "love" because love is pronounced "ai" in Japanese. Several people already commented, but they were members of a very successful Japanese boyband "King & Prince" and the lead track of their album released in June 2022 was "ichiban" meaning "number one" in Japanese. "ichiban" was an epoch-making track for them and caused a lot of buzz mainly in Japan.
