Rangaraj Pandey is very much upset with Baba Ramdev's success in FMCG. He is happy with the success of a foreign company Unilever or Hindustan Lever. Strange. A journalist can always dare to question Hindus on Hinduism but I am yet to see 1 single Journalist questions another religious leader. Indian Journalists are very unique breed. Everyone knew that a Guru is an industry of Knowledge. Hats off to this journalist for raising plenty of questions to get the Knowledge out from the Guru. This one interview session gives a plenty about what is what and what's it about. I surely believe that this journalist's questions are a representation from many many people's longing to know what's it about, and they are answered now. these journalists bringing this yoga - hindu everywhere. Yes yoga is hindu. so what ?
Edit : There are 6 dharshanas of hinduism ( or sanatana dharma or whatever name you want to call ). Yoga is one of the 6. The other 5 are sankya, vaiseshika, nyaya, Purva mimamsa and uthara mimamsa ( vedanta ). You can refer it all over the internet.
So yoga = Hindu, and hinduism = yoga. Period. Any questions ?

Very good interview. Interviewer was quite critical but the way GuruJi answered in a very conciliatory way is quite remarkable. Interviewer also needs admired as he put valid questions that are in public interest to convince the public about the good work done by GuruJi. That said, I am not a follower of GuruJi but do listen to his lectures on and off which are enlightening.
Thanks to Thanthi TV for such an informative episode..Many of your questions are informative..And thanks to Sadhguru for explaining every tiny detail in simple manner..Let's hope this year's International Yoga Day will have a wide reception

Why a secular justification needed for Yoga? All the Rishi's who passed it over to next generation for thousands of years without changing the context of it and do you think we need to give a secular context to it?

Hi, From this valuable interview, I understood that we have solutions for our problems in all aspects of life, please, please, please find topics where we lack and get solutions through interviews like this because he has potential and his responsibility towards life (humanity) is enormous ..... Thank you Mr. Pandey and I have no words to express my gratitude to Sadhguru, anyway thank you. If we fail to extract solution, we as humanity are the looser not anybody else ...I hope you will also feel the same ...and do the same.

Onething, yoga is the only Indian proprietary item that is global but have good Indian presence. Safest place to practice and teach is India. So not surprising that we have quite a few Gurus.
